Really disappointing, i have this experience with every caffè nero in bath, they are severely understaffed all the time which is so unbelievably unfair on their baristas as they all work really hard. On a number of occasions i have seen baristas near tears with how stressed out they are while management are nowhere to be seen. The caffè is always a mess and freezing cold and the pastries and cakes are stale. The only positive thing is the coffee, but there is a clear lack of care given to their staff and customers from upper management. The store manager of stall street is an amazing women and caffè nero do not deserve her.

My partner and I visited this Caffè Nero about 45 minutes before closing. Even though the coffee and cake was good, the staff had already put most of the chairs on the tables, and it felt like they wanted us to leave. They didn't offer to get us a chair, and they only served drinks in takeaway cups even though we were staying in. It was a very disappointing experience.

Went to this Caffè Nero today about 45 minutes before closing. Most of the chairs were already put up on the tables, making it feel like they were closed. The staff didn't offer to get the chairs down for us. On top of that, they only served drinks in takeaway cups, even though there were plenty of regular mugs available. It was a really poor experience.

Popped in yesterday a Saturday for a cortado and a frappe. No ice available so no frappe and no cups so only takeaway cups. I have never seen such a disgusting place in my life, cups strewn everywhere and staff obviously unable to cope or care. Disgusting

Dropped in to order an iced matcha take away and for the bathroom. There was plenty of seating and no wait. My drink was made very quickly and the bathroom was clean! Great place to rest your feet while walking around bath!

There are many Caffè Nero branches in Bath, but I always go to this one. The staff are so friendly and well-trained here, and always make my oat milk mocha to a tee.

The two lads who were working on 8th December are a credit to the company. They're friendly and professional, and the blonde one makes really good drinks. Some sort of problem with another store meant the managers came in to sort everything out. But the lads were on top of it and so professional about the upheaval.

Love this Caffe Nero. Really cute and inviting. Got my green tea and chilled out. Super close to other shops and one of three Caffe Neros in the city centre. I would definitely recommend it for all your favourite Caffe Nero treats.

The place was really cold, the coffee was great, it is 5:10, and they will close at 6:00. The staff member with braces, was very nice, and collected all the empty cups. I don't think that single staff member, can prepare the orders, collect empty cups that customers left on the tables, and clean all those dirty tables, add to that, picking up the litter on the floor. I don't know why the americano is prepared using a carton cup for the espresso, then pouring it on top of the hot water in the big ceramic cup, why not prepare the espresso in the ceramic cup, then add hot water to it?

Unfortunately, a big no to that cafe. The staff on duty during our Saturday visit was absolutely lost (1 regular + 1 trainee). We have been waiting half an hour to receive our order that eventually happened to be incomplete and had to wait a bit more for the outstanding coffee. Also, the tables were not clean (old cups and spillages), we had to do it ourselves. We also noticed other people’s drinks were being swapped all over again due to mistakes being made. I understand that some places may be understaffed. Some people undergoing a training, etc. But a big ask to the managers not to put those people on the front line on a busy Saturday afternoon. It only draws the customers away!
