This is the best of the bunch out of the 3-4 Caffe Neros in town, with an ok space upstairs for sitting for any length of time. Still, they're all a bit grotty and below standard in Bath. In fact several of the pubs nearby are more comfortable places to work during the day, with cleaner bathrooms etc, than the Caffe Neros. The staff are good here. But if it wasn't for getting drinks vouchers through work I'd go somewhere else.

I LOVE this branch in Bath! The staff here are always so lovely, the atmosphere inside is so cosy and comfortable- whilst being clean and well-kept. The drinks here have always been well-made and I highly recommend a visit. It's in a stunning location too :)

Cafe Nero opposite the Guildhall Bath. This place was run down and needed TLC. One of the oldest coffee shops in Bath and I have visited many times due to its very convenient location. There are almost 100 coffee shops in Bath, but for some reason, I always pop in there just to get a take-out! Few times to catch up with friends. Everything was pretty much standard and I wished to get friendly service there, but it didn't seem to happen there!

Been here a couple of times for a takeaway coffee. I'm an awkward soul who has one of those odd orders... Service has always been excellent, coffee had been very good - and that's decaff! - and the food very nice. I see others have had bad experiences with toilets and cleanliness - can't comment on those aspects. My only negative would be that there was very little vegetarian or vegan food choice when I went in. It was a little late in the day, though, so maybe I just missed out.

Why is it that cleaning the kit is more important to serving queuing customers? 3 staff. Only one serving. Unimpressed. I do r blame the staff. It’s more likely the management not training the staff.

Good service, even when busy. Plenty of seating, as there is an upstairs as well. Nice atmosphere

The barista was excellent considering she was basically running the whole thing by herself. The lattes were good too! Also a fab spot for people watching.

My partner was greeted by a man in the toilet who had not closed the door and was fully on show! This is very inappropriate. The toilets were absolutely filthy and considering it’s Boxing Day and they have only just opened that can only mean that they haven’t been cleaned since Christmas Eve. Just before we left my dog was eating something and it turned out to be a massive ball of hair which she found on the floor! Not a very good experience at all. I’m sure it’s just a one off because they reviews of this cafe are very high but we are massively put off and won’t be in a rush to come back.
