Really awful coffee, cakes in Cinnamon, so your first few mouthfuls are of dry dust. When I walked in the Cafe was pretty empty with 3 staff on that two of where playing tag while I stood there waiting to be served. Watered down a Chai with oat milk! WHY! Its disgusting! Coffee was gross, Also spotted they only got a 4 on their food Hygiene rating. Thats pretty poor for a coffee shop for one and pretty poor for a national chain. On top of that, there out door furniture is covered in bird mess, and not day old bird mess. The chairs and tables are not being cleaned. No wonder they got a 4. Ill avoid next time and go to the cafe next door.

Big fan of this Nero branch in Bath. It's got a lovely seating area downstairs and the staff here are so friendly and helpful. I didn't have to wait too long for a drink, which was also super well-made. Thank you guys! Highly recommend :)

Cheese and ham toast is tasty. Brazilian coffee blend is good and smooth but not very strong.

The staff are progressively turning this once fine peaceful cafe into their own play area. Not somewhere any more for a quiet coffee , a read, and a respectful chat. Neros make a play on being a traditional coffee house. They were; this isn’t. Sad. Three days later. What a difference. Well done Tom. Endeavour to persevere.

Went for coffee outside rush hours, the staff I was served by was lovely but she doesn't have the appropriate training. The place is also very filthy, various machines used behind the counter looks like they could need a wash. By reading other reviews it seems to be a recurring issue with slow service and filthy work stations. Please do set aside enough time and support to train your staff, they're clearly customer friendly just makes awful coffee! I ended up at spoons having a cappuccino out of the automatic machine and that was far better than the one I was served at Nero today.

My favourite cafe, delicious coffee and cakes. Service was very disappointing due to one member of staff left to serve customers, clear and clean tables and cope with a a queue of customers. Poor girl hadn't had a break and had been there since 11.30am and it was now after 4pm......another member of staff team had gone off and not returned at the end of the break time. 100% praise to the young girl who kept her cool and carried on regardless. Hopefully it's not usually like this. Team work required. Would I visit again....... Yes!

I loved how fresh the croissants were - flaky and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Coffee is also always very good. The floor though inside the shop could do with a good clean.

We visited this Caffé Nero on a Saturday lunchtime and were very disappointed. First, the good bits : great location and good quality food and drink. Now, the bad bits: Some of the staff seemed to resent customers being there and getting in the way of their private conversations. One male member of staff in particular made a point of being unhelpful and clearly didn’t like serving people. There was a refusal to reward a loyalty card even though the number of drinks already bought was over the required amount, with an explanation it could be redeemed on a subsequent visit. Knives, spoons and serviettes were nowhere to be seen. The place wasn’t very clean; soap was lacking in the toilets and litter was seen to be lying on both floors.

We stopped in for coffee and some lunch on Saturday 27 November 2021. We used two of our free coffee vouchers on the Caffe Nero. We were pleasantly surprised to know that we could have large drinks using the vouchers. We also had a panini and a toastie and a slice of banana and walnut cake to share. The food and drinks were great. There was a young lady who was super efficient and looking after all of the customers very well. There was a big queue and she was polite with customers and resolving queries and questions on the spot and with a smile at all times. Super helpful and an absolute credit to the store and to Caffe Nero. I believe I overheard her saying it was not the usual store she worked at. Caffe Nero, take note. Staff like this are the ones you should be rewarding and promoting on merit sooner rather than later. She very much stood out from the rest of the staff on site and was a clear leader and problem solver.

It's your classic Nero, good coffee, nice selection of cakes. There are two levels, the first with the counter with seats to the side and the second is downstairs, that is also where you will find the toilets. Only saw one member of staff when I was there, not sure what it's like when it gets busy. Nice central location.
