I'm usually quite skeptical of Cafes in particular thanks to my love of coffee, the food and atmosphere of a cafe but Ivy's Cafe is superb. I ordered a regular black coffee and a bread pudding before walking into the back and taking a seat. The decor was minimalist and cozy, homely, in a word. The cup of coffee was about as large as the bread pudding and both of them were £5.50 total (imagine my surprise). I'm extremely skeptical of coffee made in a machine but this cup was amazing, smooth with no hint that anything was burnt with a nice flavour and aroma which far exceeded my expectations. The bread pudding was very filling, Cakey and fruity with a lovely crisp top. The people there were extremely friendly and their service was very efficient as well as eager to know what I thought of their food haha. Overall a 5/5 experience for me, if I lived in bristol it would be my go to frequent every time I'm in need of a cafe. This is what a cafe should be and I hope they can stay around for years to come.

Fantastic!!!! Such a lovely little place we discovered to enjoy and meet with friends and family. The breakfasts were yummy, really welcoming and great value. The Chai Latte was delightful and will definitely be back to try their lunch’s and especially the cakes next time, as they looked very yummy. Thank you so much for a lovely time and it is great to see these independent business deliver great services in their own unique ways :)

Great staff and the food was very good. I was surprised to see homemade chips as everyone tends to use frozen. My only gripe as with most cafes is proper butter was not used, Marg does not cut it for me. However even the more expensive places overlook this small detail so can definitely be forgiven. Would highly recommend
