   Excellent place. Owner/Host is a gent. Well mannered, welcoming and eager to please. Food top notch (and I eat out, like, every couple days). Tajine Marrakech was excellent, my dad makes the same one but not quite as well (don't tell him I said that). Also got the royal couscous which was very nice too. Worth noting there were no high chairs but my lad is old enough to get away with a big boy chair on rare occasions now. Host's family was hanging out since it was the summer and my lad was welcomed to play with them for some entertainment, just a little indicator of the great environment. Entry way could be a little off-putting for walk-ins, front desk makes it feel a bit cramped but in Edinburgh you do what you can with the space you get. Give it a chance and you'll be impressed. Aires on the medium side price wise but worth it in my opinion. Will be coming back

   THE BEST FOOD! This place is authentic and welcoming. It is a fantastic restaurant to experience Algerian, Moroccan and Tunisian food all in one place. Recommendations The Tagine Marrakesh and Couscous royale were so good can’t recommend them enough! We had a lovely evening and I highly recommend this place If you are looking for North African/Mediterranean food.

   This fantastic new family-run restaurant has hands-down the best Couscous and Tajine in Scotland! It really is homecooked Algerian and North African food like your mum would make it. Absolutely LOVE it! Merci beaucoup Saïd and Assia, we'll be back soon!
