   Ah, what a disappointment this has turned out to be... We arrived at 13:00hrs as per the email instructions to the Croc Cafe which is completely empty with a lady behind the counter who had less personality than a used sponge. Told us she wants our food order first as she doesn't know if we're eating before or after swimming with crocodiles, which is fair enough. So we sit down at the cleanest table, which is hard to find unfortunately & considering we're the only people here, you'd think all tables and cutlery would be spotless but no... And why is there cutlery on all tables? Not very hygienic but I suppose it fits with the dirty tables. Whilst deciding which of the exotic burgers we'd like to eat, sponge lady comes over and tells us they have no exotic burgers left, just beef... Well, that's rubbish. Only things on the menu worth trying and they're not available. So, considering how anticlean the place is we'll skip the food. Then, the guy who's part of the crocodile experience walks in, tells her that we should eat first and we've gotta wait around until 14:00hrs to do our swim and proceeds to leave. I decided to intervene and ask why, we've been told to arrive for one o'clock and they have no food we want to eat. He's adamant we've been told to arrive for two, so we show him the email which he's then stumped by and there's nothing we can do and is apparently unaware all that's in stock is breakfast items or food from the kiddies menu, oh and plain beef burgers. Even he suggested there's to go eat elsewhere, rather than eat here... Annoyingly ended up sitting here, waiting until 14:30hrs with another family who were booked (at 14:00hrs) to do a reptiles experience which is different to swimming with crocs. I strongly recommend not even bothering with this place. 1. No exotic burgers. 2. Dirty restaurant, including cutlery. Blue paper towels as napkins. 3. No clear communications. 4. Parking is poor. 5. No apologies for wasting our time. 6. Toilet door didn't lock. Thankfully this was a gift, so we didn't waste any money. This SHOULD NOT completely reflect the swimming experience next door, although that was not perfect it was pretty good, unlike anything about this place. Looks like with some older reviews it was a good café but appears to have gone down hill and shown no signs of improving.

   The café is lovely, with plenty of crocodile-themed decorations, including pictures and even a small crocodile on every table. My little one especially enjoyed the large crocodile head display. However, the food was just okay—I think it could be improved. One downside was that it was quite cold when we arrived. I asked for a heater, but the young lady said there wasn’t one available. We were the first customers of the day, and she seemed a bit unsure about our arrival. A faster service would be great, but she was very sweet and did apologise. Next door, we visited their reptile shop, where we got a free printed photo. Austin was brilliant in assisting us—I even got to hold a crocodile, and my three-year-old daughter touched both a crocodile and a gecko! It was an amazing experience. An older gentleman also spoke to me about the snakes, explaining things in a very friendly and informative way. Overall, it was a lovely experience! Meeting the Reptiles experience was amazing.

   I found the young lady working there very unenthusiastic and there was no happy "good afternoon, what can I get you". I enquired about the sign saying "card payments only" to which she replied 'we don't do cash, only cards, but if you have only cash I can take it'. So do you take cash or not? I ordered a cappuccino which looked more like a flat white, but it tasted ok. Bit old fashioned and unhygienic to have cutlery set out on each table. How many customers get to handle them before someone uses them for food. And what's with the kitchen roll for napkins? In all I had great expectations for this cafe considering it's nature and association with the reptile shop next door. For a Saturday and during half-term I was surprised I was the only customer but then again with such an unwelcoming greeting and not getting what I ordered, am I surprised? I did chat in the reptile shop which owns the cafe and they were apologetic but an apology after an unwelcoming experience is not the way to get repeat customers.

   ordered a cheese and onion tostie as the wait for the breakfast was too long for us and The girl serving us could not do a refund as she was not trained. we were told that it would be a 5 to 7 minute wait and we were there for almost 20 minutes. as we were about to eat the toastie, I noticed that the onion had not been cut properly The skin of the onion was still on along with the root of the onion not cut off. It was very disgusting to eat.

   Quite possibly the best breakfast I’ve ever eaten . The quality of food here is outstanding and the service is even better . Staff are friendly and welcoming , atmosphere is calm and relaxed , eating spaces are superbly clean . I can’t believe the quality for the price ,
