Turned up to eat on a thursday afternoon with my partner and children. Albeit the restaurant was busy, there was no notification anywhere of a wait on food. We ordered our food through the kiosk, we waited for 30 minutes before asking a morissons cafe colleague how long our food would be. He told us it would be 10 minutes. We waited for a FURTHER 20 minutes for our food before demanding a refund and cancelling our food order and leaving. **Besides this, a family had made a serious complaint of undercooked chicken to a child, cold food from another, and the serious delay on waiting times leading to the cafe emptying by more than half and countless refund given before ours!** We will not be returning..

As I was the only one in eating it was a little lonely. Shame a hot drink isn't included in the large breakfast service was slow and it was not that hot to be honest especially being the only one in.

Im not going to write why the tables are not cleaned more often (maybe the customers themselfs could and should take their empty plates to the trolley) or about sometimes sticky floor, all of this is not very important. What is important is the food. I admitt, I only ever had ultimate breakfast from them, which at the moment is £8.50 so creeping up to a full tenner fast. And the food itself is... a bit meh. You get a plate filled to the brim; three sausages, two bacons, two hash brown, two eggs, mushrooms etc I mean theres loads. It leaves you nicely satisfied (if you come with empty stomach, otherwise it might even be too much). But once its all gone, you cant help but get the feeling, it was all rather bland. Bleak? Uninteresting. There wasnt much taste to any of this. I dont know if they source the items on your plate from their own inventory, or is this a third party supplies, my verdict is this. If you are a breakfast connoisseur (on a budget) this will not do and you might not want to return. For everone else, me with even less budget, is good enough. I just hope price wont go up anymore next year.

We have lunch here on Fridays (work nearby). The food was extremely good and value for money. Sadly, it lacks of staff members so the tables stay extremely dirty for long times. The ordering screen was full of receipts on the floor and missing the numbers you are supposed to take to your table so the waiter finds you. I would strongly recommend they increase the amount of staff that look after that area.

When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff. We were offered a special offer of 2 breakfasts for £10. We sat at the table, where our hot drinks were served. Then we waited 30 mins before the food was served. By this time, our tea was either gone or cold. When the food arrived It was nicely presented but luke warm. Sitting in the restaurant, you observe others, and the vibe was that everyone seemed to be waiting a long time. One table of 4 had only 2 people served the other 2 sat and waited a further 10 minutes before theirs came out. It would be nice if we were pre-warned of the waiting time, but we weren't, and for this, we have given a low rating. Can't see us visiting again.

Cold, tasteless breakfast. Seems to go downhill on every visit. Virtually empty but tables not cleared. Been using Morrison's cafes for decades but sadly I am done now.

3 times I have attempted to come here, in opening hours. Each time although there is food on display and no sign to indicate, staff have rudely shouted that they are shut.

Ok breakfast when you can get it. Inconsistent opening times at the weekend. Tried 3 Sundays to get breakfast and been let down every time. Might be better in the week but I wouldn’t bother again at the weekend.

Mid week fish and chips. Never again this is the second time we have been to Morrisons cafe and been disappointed. It used to be so good but it has really gone off the boil. The fish was nice, small but ok but cold chips and peas! really surely it is not difficult to cook fresh chips especially if you have had to cook the fish.

Went on a Sunday when closing times are meant to be 4pm. Got there at 2pm and found that the staff had decided to shut early ‘because they wanted to’. The entire place was disgusting, dirty plates on every table and food all over the floor. Do not go here.
