We didn’t they did brunch here but were very glad we spotted someone eating one when we walked past. Great value and super tasty. Everywhere else on Gloucester Road appeared to be closed so we were rather happy to go here

Love Pinkmans on Park Street, but didn’t feel it here today. I thought my bacon sourdough toasted sandwich was boring, and my friends poached eggs were watery and not good. When we arrived, I said could we have a coffee and sit down while choosing our food? I was immediately told that we don’t have tabs here. I didn’t ask for a tab. I just wanted two minutes to just choose the meal so that I could pay for the drink and food together, but I had to pay for the drinks first.

Excellent service, friendly and welcoming. We went around 12:30pm and there was a great selection of baked goods, sandwiches, etc. All looked very yummy. Nice coffee, nice atmosphere and one of the best pain au chocolat I've ever had.

Great food and service with a somewhat cheap and cheerful seating layout and environment for a reasonable price. Only a short wait for food which was on point as was the coffee. The table felt pretty flimsy and there were some fruit flies running around but I didn't feel like it detracted from the experience that much. Something I would mention is that in the tuna mayo brioche bun there were capers and olives which my girlfriend didn't like so it might just be an idea to check what's in it when you order. Overall good experience, would go again.

I always love Pinkmans, but today I had the nicest service from Saf!! Such a lovely chat, and gave me some great recommendations. Will definitely be back in soon!

£7.50 for a Chicken brioche roll was really expensive for what it was (even though it was tasty) and the coffee was tepid at best. Used sugar wrappers in the sugar bowl was off-putting. Probably won't visit again. Too many other high-quality eating places on that part of G-Rd to visit an average place again. Sorry.

My girlfriend and I visited Pinkman’s Bakery mid-January, and as it was a Sunday the café was understandably rammed at lunch time. I felt they made the most out of the small space that the café had available to them, with rows of benches with multiple parties to each bench. The only way to order was through the app which, while undeniably efficient, meant that one could not pay in cash which was disappointing. We both ordered coffee, and I had a full English while she had Eggs Benedict. Unfortunately her Mocha was lukewarm at best when it arrived, while mine was a sufficient temperature, although I would have preferred it slightly warmer. There was no denying that the coffees were tasty, but the temperature of the beverages did take away from this somewhat. However, the main source of disappointment was the Full English. For £14 you get two pieces of bacon and sourdough, avocado, mushrooms and poached eggs. I understand that this is the trendy style of full English, but I think that price is outrageous for what you get – how can a full English cost £14 if it doesn’t even come with sausages? I’ve been to plenty of similar modern cafés where you can get a proper full English for a couple of pounds less. All in all, Pinkman’s is a nice café, with a pleasant ambience, but the service fell slightly short and the full English, in my opinion, needs to be revised. I would return, but only for coffee, and on a slightly quieter day.

Items priced incredibly high compared to other independent cafe’s in the area. Although quality is always outstanding. Main issue is the customer service of Pinkmans. I don’t know why the chap with the long hair is front of house with such a poor attitude / can come across quite abrupt& rude. He’s become somewhat of a convo starter for a few of us that use Pinkmans: ‘Did you get served by that guy…. did you manage to get a smile out of him today?’ If you’re reading this guy with the long hair, please cheer up, you put a proper downer the days I visit your shop.

WOW!!! Wandered in by chance. Café down the road was too busy... this was incredible. First review ever, because it was that good! Coffee was proper tasty (I've even been on the website to try and order some). The sandwich was, quite literally, the best sandwich I've had in years. I was shocked there were so few people in there. It's an absolute find!
