Good selection of light bites. Kitchen to table service was good and swift but lad behind the till seemed out of place. No greeting/smile grumpy as hell. Tables needed a good clean but given it was early afternoon on a Saturday I guess it’s understandable.

A fabulous little cafe hidden away downstairs in John Lewis. It's not the main John Lewis cafe! This little place has excellent quality coffee. The service is excellent too, staff very helpful. Was quiet when we went, served quickly, plenty of space. Highly recommended.

Terrible coffee. The service and coffee has been going down hill for a while now. My Cappuccino was not hot enough and was not made properly. Clearly no Barrister training. I took my coffee back to the counter , I explained about my coffee and asked if she could make me another one. My mother’s flat white was the same. I didn’t see the person making my Cappuccino as I went back to my table. It had clearly been put under the steamer to heat it up. I could tell it was not made again. It’s such a shame, my mother and I used to love coming here for a coffee at the weekend. I just don’t know why it’s gone down hill? I would not recommend this cafe until they sort out their staff and give them proper Barrister training and customer service training.

Very disappointed again, I always enjoyed a Long Black decaf, however over the last 3 visits I have sent it back, it has no flavour or strength, even with an extra shot not good . Please change your brand!!! Service is always good, I didn’t mind waiting as coffee was so good, but not any more.

Really disappointed with this experience - first of all its terribly organised we had to stand around outside waiting for ages. They got our order wrong, serving a very hot sandwich to my little one, I sent back and they bought back a cold sandwich on a boiling hot plate! The bread is all stale, that's why they sell the sandwiches hot and toasted, which they outright told me was why! - but obviously no good if ordering a cold sandwich for a child. After having to send back 3 times, the staff were clearly sharing comments about us, just not the experience we wanted for a nice lunch out as a family. We will stick to John Lewis' own cafe upstairs from now on.

Half empty had to wait to be seated, service being operated by weekend staff.

Ori Cafe is a busy smaller cafe in the basement of John Lewis, Cribbs Causeway store at Patchway. You sometimes have to wait outside the cafe for a table. Food is good but pricey. The service can be quite slow when they bring the drinks or food to you, but it is always busy. Fantastic range of quality cakes and pastries. Toilets are also near.
