Friendly staff, good food and interesting selection of local Bath alea and the usual pub beers. Visited mid-week on a Wednesday and the pub was fairly busy at times, a good atmosphere. Dogs were allowed into the pub to rest under the table.

We were looking for a very good Sunday roast and asked a local where we should go. They had suggested this place to us so we trusted them and went. What an absolutely fantastic suggestion that local gave us. This was by far the best Sunday roast I have ever had. (it might even beat my own mother’s roast..and that’s saying something.) The quality of the food was very very good. We did not have a reservation, but they still managed to squeeze us in. Which was great! The lady serving us was absolutely fantastic. She was very good at her job and very attentive. Whenever we are back in Bath next we will definitely return to this lovely pub. I must say it’s reasonably priced too as compared to some other Sunday roast’s in Bath they were coming in at over £20. But these guys came in at £17.95 for the chicken roast. Oh, we also had a portion of fries which were very nicely done too. 10/10 for this pub.

We were wandering around Widcombe, looking for something for lunch. The Ring O Bells caught our eye, especially after looking at the menu. The atmosphere inside was traditional, but not "quaint" and we felt at home. We were given a very warm welcome and plenty of time to peruse the menu over a glass of wine. The food was lovely. We had a sausage roll and ham egg and chips. A perfect example of doing simple things really well (best ham egg and chips ever!). The staff were friendly and approachable. A definite strong recommendation from us.

Ring Of Bell's Pub The Ring of Bell's Pub is an absolute gem of a spot. The atmosphere is cosy and inviting, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the drinks menu is well-curated and delicious. The real Ales are awesome! But what really sets the Ring of Bell's apart is its food menu. The pub grub is hearty and satisfying, with a focus on locally-sourced ingredients and traditional pub favourites. The fish and chips are particularly noteworthy, with perfectly crispy batter and tender fish. Overall, the Ring of Bell's is a must-visit for anyone looking for a great meal and a pint in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

At the recommendation of our BnB host and a local tour guide we are at this jovial local pub. Excellent food - unique, hardy, delicious fare. Friendly and efficient staff. Lively, comfortable place. Highly recommend it!

Went here on the way back from Prior Park. In a high street with some seating in the front. Lots of seating inside where a lot of the locals can be found. Also follow signs, as we did for the garden. Go through another upstairs room and up some steps at the back. There are two gardens at the back on a little street. Very cute. Nice on a sunny day with umbrellas. Staff friendly and humorous. Nice beer. Can’t go wrong with a Neck Oil.
