Friendly staff and a fantastic array of quality beer, cider and lagers. Also good original music.

We love the Royal Oak! Closest you'll get to a true local pub in Bath. A good natter with the barkeep always guaranteed. Beers are the best in Bath (great range from lager and ale to sours and Belgium) - plus great value for money. Great vibe in the pub! Just recommend checking if there is live music playing if you're going in the late evening - if there is, unless you're happy to sit outside you will be watching the band and likely stood up!

I frequent this pub all the time as a student, the staff are always so lovely and always willing to let you try the drinks before buying. The bar staff have really good knolage of the drinks on tap. There are always new specials which is really nice to have a variety.

What a beautiful pub with a range of beers you simply can't find anywhere else. I found Brugse Zot here the only place in England I've ever seen it! And of course it was excellent. What a pub, a beautiful atmosphere, wonderful staff. I can only recommend and I'd give far more than 5 stars if I could.

Nice little pub, lots of choice regarding beer, and friendly staff. Can't ask for much more!

Called in on Tuesday with my Old Man between appointments, and our kind of pub. Fantastic pints and good to see a nice choice of ciders. The barman was welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. Old Man saw the Irish Sessions on the board outside, so I predict we'll be back!

Called on Saturday lunchtime. Knowledgeable young man behind the bar who knew his real ales and how to serve them. There was a good selection including from their own brewery, Ralph's Ruin. A good craft ale and cider selection as well.

Great selection of beers including from their own on-site brewery. Good range of ciders too. Lovely little beer garden. Friendly and helpful bar staff
