Absolutely divine. Hand crafted cuisine. The pork apple sausage was perfection. The fish and chips were delicious. Fabulous service and the location is beautiful.
We didn’t book and just popped in on a Friday night, the atmosphere was great, they had a signer performing ‘Alfie Treloar’ who was excellent, we had a nice small meal a few zero Guinness’s and all in all had a great evening.
Came for a Sunday Roast. In summary its expensive with tiny portions of meat. £5.95 for 4 unpleasant pigs in blankets was a joke! Service was fine and the pub is well kept, just don't eat here.
Yesterday was my second time visiting Bath from South Wales, and after my first experience of Sunday dinner in The Huntsman, I made sure we booked in for another sitting whilst visiting I booked the reservation on the day whilst travelling back from London and there was plenty of availability When we got there, we were a little early, but the waitress sat us straight away and she was extremely accommodating throughout, whilst always serving with a smile (unsure who served us, but it was either Cher or Thea) There were only 2 tables including myself that were dining, which was a shock as the food is impeccable. We did arrive at 1:30pm so maybe that’s the quiet period for Sunday dinner reservations! Lovely atmosphere, prompt service and my partner was equally as impressed with the food with it being his first time visiting - I definitely chose well there We will most likely be back during our next trip to Bath in the near future
On October 2, 2022 I was in Bath, UK on a tour when my bus mates & I chose to relax with a drink at this charming restaurant. We sat outside and the passing plates of food looked delicious. Unfortunately, since the place was packed, we did not have enough time to order and eat. The drinks and service was perfect. I'd love to go back one day.
Fantastic and iconic pub in Bath. Nice history behind from long ago. The staff was super, very friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and well presented. It is also pets welcome pub!. Highly recommend of you visit the city.
A large pub, lovely dining room upstairs. Friendly, happy staff, food and service was good. The pub it's self is right by the river in the centre of the city. The pub/restaurant was spotlessly clean, but the toilets needed attention.
Excellent food, great selection of drinks, including cask ales, phenomenal staff who made us feel incredibly welcome. I would highly recommend this wonderful pub, whether you want to eat, or just drop in for a drink.
As soon as you walk through the door, you feel welcomed. We only had a drink to warm as up from the fresh open bus tour. We watched food going out, if tastes as good as it looks then it will be a 10/10. Friendly staff, good facilities with disabled on ground floor and ladies and gents on 1st.
