Really lovely and friendly. Gorgeous pizzas perfect for sharing if not huge appetite. New landlady really nice. We went late Sunday lunch and they’d had a kids party which was really sweet. Will go again for games nights and the pub quiz!
There were five of us adults and one 2 year old grandchild, and we were all welcomed and shown to a lovely table near a properly guarded open fire. The food was extremely good, and we all enjoyed the games, including our grandchild, who had a great time with the puzzles. Highly recommended.
What a lovely pub. We were staying locally and visited twice during our holiday. It's a dog friendly, relaxing place to eat. With a roaring fire and delicious fresh pizza, with a focus on local ingredients. A good selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Recommend.
This is our local & we stopped going here due to the previous landlord. Today we were welcomed with a huge smile and warmth by the new landlord, Kelly. Absolutely brilliant pizza menu and wonderful service. So pleased to have a local well enjoy going to again!
Recently under new ownership, still a great local. Good beer, cider, and wine selection, both more traditional beers and craft ones. They also still do pizzas that are very nice - more interesting variations rather than just fully traditional ones, and emphasising local suppliers. We had a seasonal butternut squash and goats cheese pizza and a mushroom and blue cheese pizza. Also dog friendly.
Lovely lunch where we had all 5 of the starters as a main meal for 3 of us. They were all delicious. And pretty quiet for lunch, unlike the Hare and Hounds, we didn't have to book ahead. What's not to love!?
I am Working in the Claremont in bath today, the food being prepared in the kitchen looked inviting and smelt amazing... So I ordered a personal one for my lunch. It was 2nd to none... So fresh and tasty not the like the commercial ones you get from branded pizza shops. The Claremont is spotlessly clean throughout kitchen is visible from the lower dining area and again it's absolutely pristine the attention to cleanliness and hygiene is clear to see Both George and Mark are really welcoming, this place is beautifully presented with pleasant outside spaces for smoking and eating. A real credit to these guys. The pizzas I ate was prepared by George... It Was excellent with Amazing flavour and really quick to the table even though there was a few others being ordered by customers. I would highly recommend if visiting bath and want some excellent food and drink.
Conveniently located in Fairfield Park with a good selection of beers a wide variety of drinks and a good menu food menu. Service was quick and delivered with a smile.
Very friendly and helpful staff, fantastic food and great beer selection. Just wish we lived closer as this would definitely be the perfect local! Highly recommended.
We were staying on the outskirts of Bath for one night and looking for somewhere to eat. The Claremont was pretty close so we decided to go there. Very relaxing, very friendly people working there, great service and fantastic pizzas.
