This evening my parents and I enjoyed a special festive dinner here at the Globe in Bath. Our experience was made memorable thanks to the amazing service from Emily. Another enjoyable afternoon meal. I opted for the pie of the day, wife had the fishcakes and daughter had fish and chips ( dog had some biscuit treat that are supplied by the premises). All dishes were presented nicely and and the portion size was just right. Food was served within 16 mins, which I think is excellent. We sat in the bar area as this is the dog friendly area of the establishment. No deserts were needed. Utilised the 40% off main meals voucher which was available in the "Vintage Inn's" app valid from 24th to 27th Nov, which made the for excellent value.
The staff were very attentive even though we went during a very busy time at 7pm. The food was great, I've been here a couple times now and both times have been a good experience. The black forest flower pot dessert was amazing! Even the flower pot was made of chocolate. I went with my friend and spent about £27 each so not expensive either.
Lovely meal, great little country pub. Very good quality ingredients and tasty cooking.
Be careful with the car park here now, as you will need to register your number with staff when visiting. Always a lovely pub to visit and have a meal. A great choice on the menu and at reasonable prices. The only downside was the hot drinks were not quite right, taste wise, otherwise great tasting main meal. The dessert was not bad too, but have had better. Yes I would recommend this place to eat. Been here before and would visit again.
Great place to visit. Lovely building and great staff. Food was really good. Had a hard time choosing what to eat, it all sounded amazing.
We are a party of four although the car park was full we were shown to a nice table.Service by Charlie was good along with the food be was very helpful with choice of deserts. A pleasant experience at a fair price
