I spent a couple of days parked here as part of the BritStops scheme, and John & Helen were both fantastic. Not only being okay to let me stay, but also letting me in to use the loo before the pub had opened. Whether you're popping in for a meal or staying the night, I'd highly recommend this pub as somewhere to visit.
Lovely well presented local with reasonable prices. Very good food portions, lovely chips that you can tell they have made properly. Staff are attentive and friendly and will go out of their way to help you. I didn't stay in the rooms but I believe the accommodation is good. Harriet the barmaid was also lovely and even when she was busy she had time for everyone.
It was a wonderful little pub, food was lovely, everyone was friendly. The room was beautiful, clean and well presented. Would highly recommend and it's history sets your mind running wild, nothing scary, but ask when you visit.
First time visiting today after recently moving to the area and food was outstanding for a Sunday carvery. Staff were so lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. Defo be back more often.
Fantastic food, fast service and friendly staff. The food came very quickly and was delicious. A real gem of a find and so close to Bristol Airport. We stayed the night before our flight in a lovely, modern and cozy room. The breakfast tray was very appreciated and set us up for our flight. 2 each of instant porridge pots, pan au chocolate, fruit juice, biscuits and cake bars. There was also a tea and coffee selection. Great value and they offer parking for whilst you're away too. Very highly recommended.
The George is a lovely friendly pub with a restaurant and accommodation. We stayed there for a night before we went on holidays. Only a few minutes drive from the airport
Clean, friendly helpful staff the food was very tasty and reasonably priced we would certainly recommend anyone visiting the area to visit.
Stayed here for an early flight the next morning. Lovely pub with lovely rooms. Pleasantly surprised at having a selection of breakfast items in the room, such as porridge pots, pan au chocolat etc at no extra charge. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely home made food. Comfy bed and interesting building. The Christmas bottle tree decoration in the hall was super.
