   Having owned cats and therefore using vets for over 20 years, Thistle Vets are the best practice I have used. Even though they are a large practice, the service and professionalism is second to none and you can tell they actually care about the wellbeing of your pet. They came into their own when sadly I have had to have two of my cats put to sleep and Thistle Vets were so caring and handled everything with such dignity to my cats and my family, that was when I knew I had made a wise decision to make Thistle Vets my go to Veterinary Clinic. Do the same as you will not be disappointed.

   Love this vet it’s always where I take my pets I no they are in the best hands Staff is amazing Sophie and Jackie at reception r my fav so understanding Shirley goes above and beyond my cat escaped carrier just b4 get into vet and she came out food and help me get him back in gill brilliant with aquatic animals so many excellent staff xx Cora she loves any pets can’t resist her wee hugs clovenstone won’t be clovenstone without Sophie tho been there many years think we customers just rely for Sophie help she helps me pick items suitable for my dogs/cats best food ect just amazing person all there for the pets can’t fault them never had a problem too vet

   Very over priced. My cat came home after being missing for 2 weeks. He looked fine other than being very hungry and a little weary. I phoned thistle to see if I should get him checked out. The receptionist said yes and booked him in right away. Arrived at the vets and was there for all of 5 minutes for the vet to weigh him and say he’s lost a little weight & will be stressed but is otherwise fine. Shocked to be charged almost £46 for someone to state the obvious.

   I am very lucky that Thistle Vets are just a few minutes walk from where I live. I adopted my wee Staffie seven years ago and took her in the first day to sign up for the Pet Health Plan and just get her checked over. Over the years we have had a few sore paws and an infected salivary gland and each time they dealt with everything with kindness, compassion and professionalism. I feel very lucky that I found such a good veterinary practice so local to us.
