   After spending over three decades away from Kilmarnock, I recently found myself needing legal assistance in the area to arrange Power of Attorney (PoA) for my mum. It was a daunting task—not just emotionally, but also logistically. Being so far removed from Kilmarnock, I had no idea where to turn or who to trust. My first attempt was with a firm I had heard of in the past. Unfortunately, their attitude and overall approach were disappointing, to say the least. It left me feeling uneasy and disheartened at a time when I really needed support and professionalism. That's when I turned to online reviews to guide me, and Bell Legal stood out from the rest. From the moment I contacted them, I knew I had made the right choice. The team was exceptional—professional, efficient, and meticulous. Special thanks go to Dylan Woods, who truly went above and beyond. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable and organised, but he also showed genuine compassion. He kindly visited my mum at home, knowing she uses a wheelchair, which made a world of difference to us both. Dylan handled everything from start to finish, making the process of securing PoA completely seamless. Thanks to him, we had everything in place quickly, giving me tremendous peace of mind. If you're looking for legal services in Kilmarnock—especially if you're navigating it from afar—I can't recommend Bell Legal enough. Their dedication, care, and attention to detail set them apart.

   I would thoroughly recommend Bell and Co and Dylan Woods in particular. Dylan had helped update wills for my elderly parents and he visited them at home and was so kind to them. They felt cared for and not just a business case. Sadly, and unexpectedly, my dad passed away just after mum was admitted to a care home. We contacted Dylan to say what had happened, and he couldn’t have done more for our family. The process was complicated due to mums health condition and Dylan was fantastic at explaining everything and helping us get through it all. He also helped with the house sale and that was a smooth process. At our most difficult time Dylan was professional but caring, always replied quickly to emails or calls, and nothing was too much trouble. The staff in the office were lovely too. We will be using Dylan for any legal issues in the future as we have complete trust in him, and in the company.

   Highly recommended. I engaged the services of Bell and Company to help and advise me during torturous negotiations with a very difficult family member and the executor of the estate (a solicitor from another Kilmarnock firm) after the death of my mother. Dylan was extremely patient, professional and, most importantly, available during the whole stressful process.    I recently found myself in need of representation in a family court case. Obviously, I hunted for the place with the best reputation I could find, and was lucky enough to get Bell & Co to represent me. When I was assigned Dylan to help with my case I really could not have done any better. He went above and beyond what I could ever have hoped for. He was always willing to listen, and quickly respond to changes in what has been a delicate dispute. He has always been able to relay the legal aspects to me in a way that has made sense, and has been kind and supportive throughout the whole process, which eventually was resolved in my favour recently.    I needed a solicitor to resolve a family dispute and I started looking in early 2021 during the pandemic. The ones I phoned either didn't phone me back, didn't want my case or said they'd take it only to drop me a few days later. I'm in Irvine and Bell & Co. is in Kilmarnock so they were half-way down my list but they got their call like the rest but they phoned me back. I explained the situation and they said they'd take the case but I waited a few days just to make sure. Finally someone took me on, Bell & Co assigned Dylan as my solicitor. Fourteen months on the service I have received has been outstanding. Their work, particularly the research needed for my case, has been exceptional. Their communication is excellent and Dylan always responds quickly when you have a question. They listen to what you are saying and when it's the right thing to do they will act on it appropriately. When they don't know something they find out and phone you back with the answer so you have the correct information. We've still some way to go but I have every confidence in their abilities and professionalism. I didn't expect to get this level of service from what really was a shot in the dark. When I consider the difficulties I had getting a solicitor I'm glad that happened. To get half-way down my list to Bell & Co was fate and for that I'm thankful.
