Linwood Motors will get my business from now on. Had a tiny wiring issue that caused my Fiesta to fail it's MOT at a nearby major chain garage, and of course they couldn't remedy this at all. Called Linwood for advice and assistance and my car was seen and fixed in all of 15 minutes, along with some good advice, entirely for free. My car immediately sailed through it's MOT. Lesson learned, local business over the chain, every time.
Had a problem in urgent need of sorting on car, Fantastic service, came back 2 hrs later all sorted,Really really good, diagnosed problem straight away when I arrived, I'm thinking will not have car for following day as it was early afternoon,, Nope later in afternoon all sorted, well done Linwood motors.
All garages should be like Linwood! I bought a new headlights for my KIA, but it was too hard for me to get out. Several shops in town could not get me in for weeks, but they got me in the next day, while I was having a cup of tea with my friend they sorted it in 30 mind and did not charge me for it.
A decent no bull garage. Reasonable labour rates and up front polite staff. Have had some major jobs including a piston replacement and glow plug removal (head off) on a diesel I owned as well as many smaller jobs and haven’t had to return a car yet.
Had what I thought was a stuck calliper, but if fact turned out to be a brake pad that had given up the ghost. Staff very friendly and explained what had happened and that the pads and disc had both been changed.
Was recommended Linwood Motors by my partner. Had a full service on my car as well as getting the brake pads and discs replaced. The chaps did a cracking job and my little Renault has never run smoother. Were even kind enough to touch up my callipers which they didn't need to do. Would definitely recommend and will be using again! 5/5 :)
