Been going for years and years and years. The prices are extremely reasonable, the guys are super friendly and welcoming. All very good at what they do aswell. I really wouldnt go anywhere else.

MOT and work completed and at a good price. Not without an unprovoked mouthful from one of the staff, once on the phone and again in person. Couldn't have a two way conversation with this person about my car. Craig kindly sorted it out so we could get the job completed and I could leave. Not somewhere I would go again.

Always got on fine using Whittles never really had any issues. Booked in before Christmas on the last working day and was reminded a few times on the phone it was their last working day. Came down to it being looked at to be told i need a new turbo at a cost of £1800 (inc VAT) and need new injectors too. I was also told i would be better putting that money into something else instead. I mean....what garage says that? Anyway, a month on and i have bought a new turbo, had it fitted, a full MAIN service, discs and pads all round, gear linkage cables and have had the injectors ultrasonically cleaned of carbon at a specialist in bristol (no new injectors needed) and all in its cost me less than £1350. I have no idea where the £1500+vat came from for the turbo replacement or whether it was an overprice it as we aren't interested, i dont know. Anyway, the total lack of desire and interest in fixing it or not plucking a figure out of thin air has lost my business. Perhaps the wind down to christmas had already started.

Would not use this garage again!! Took the car in for an issue with the fan and had £480 worth of work completed with no consultation. When I explained I wouldn’t have had this work as do not have the money to spent the bill was reduced by £20. Be prepared work will be completed before any contact with you or agreement and you will be expected to pay.

Fantastic customer service! Fitted me in last minute for an MOT. Kept up to date and called when promised when the car was ready. Definitely will be going back and recommend this garage to anyone who wants good value, honest mechanics and great customer service.

Charlatans extraordinaire ! Booked my car in to have two cameras fitted (which I supplied - complete with the packaging and instructions). Kept the car a day longer than arranged (costing me a lost days wages) and then managed to fit the internal rear camera to the exterior of the car, drilling various holes in the bodywork in the process. No apology, no admittance of any mistake, just an offer to put right (which would've cost me another days lost wages. I decided to take it to a professional garage to have the work put right. If you want to lose money, pay for your car to be damaged and receive shoddy treatment, then this is the place for you. Avoid like the plague would be my advice. (only awarding one star as it's not allowed to give less)

Agreed a price 2 weeks ago via email for works and then on the day dropped the car off at 9am and then they decide to call me at 1.30pm to tell me the price was actually an extra £120 more. You would think if they stated a price they would honour it but no! Awful service would never use them again!

Recommendation : STRONG AVOID So I decided to give this mechanics a go as its near my workplace and seemed to have some fairly positive reviews on Google. Unfortunately this does not reflect my experience. I took my 2013 plate car here in September 2021 for an MOT and service. I flagged at the time that I had noticed a crack in the coolant expansion tank so asked them to check the coolant system and replace any hoses etc that might be worn or faulty. They replaced said expansion tank, cap and housing, refilled the coolant and completely the service however this is where things started to go sideways; - The first time I went to collect the car after they told me it was ready they advised that they had split the hose and had managed a patch job however I would need to bring it back the following day when they had a replacement. - The second time I went to collect it after dropping it back I sat there for over an hour whilst they hurried to replace the hose after they had already told me to come down because the car was ready (turns out the part they had received was incorrect). They charged me for the hose but not the labour. - Five minutes after I left the carpark I had to return as the engine was over revving and warning lights were flashing. The mechanic fiddled with it for a while then told me that there was a sensor issue but it was nothing to worry about and everything was fine. Fast forward to June 2022 and the car cooling system experienced some sort of failure and needed to be towed. I made the decision at that point to get it towed back here so they could assess it and I could determine whether to go ahead with the repair. Once assessed they informed me the head gasket was gone, recommended that I buy a reconditioned engine and they would install it for circa £700-£800. I was surprised to hear that the problem was this serious especially as the car has relatively low mileage and I stopped driving it at the first sign of trouble, but they said ‘sometimes head gaskets just go’ and that ‘its better to just replace the engine as if you replace the head gasket the car will never be the same again’. This didn’t sound right to me so I decided to take the car to a different mechanic and I’m glad I did because there was absolutely nothing wrong with the head gasket, just a sticky electronic thermostat which ended up costing me £240 to replace along with a full flush of the coolant system and an oil change. All of this leads me down the path towards some pretty ugly conclusions surrounding the competency and/or ethics of this garage and its mechanics.
