   How could a man who styles his own beard so fabulously, not do a good groom? We’re in Edinburgh for the fringe and booked Craig in advance. His communication was excellent, the shop easy to find. MOST importantly he gave Merlin a fabulous cut (including styling Merlin’s Kajagoogoo hairstyle). Thanks Craig. Wish we lived closer to be regular-regulars, but will certainly be timing Merlin’s grooms around our next trip up here. (Ps I know that Merlin looks a little sad in the photos but that’s just his look, and he plays on it!)

   I can’t recommend Craig highly enough. We first took our cockapoo, Sonny, to him in 2021, and he was not an easy dog to handle. However, Craig worked his magic and managed to groom our very anxious pup with incredible patience and skill. Craig is the only groomer I truly trust, and I’m so grateful we found him!

   I had an extremely unpleasant experience with Craig. I was 15 minutes late for the appointment due to a mix-up with my timing and had been sitting outside in my car. When I finally walked in, instead of being understanding, Craig was incredibly rude and disrespectful and demanded payment. I get that being late can cause issues, but his condescending attitude was completely uncalled for. He made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, which was not the experience I expected. If professionalism and basic respect matter to you, I’d advise avoiding this groomer.

   I am over the moon at finding Craig! After a rocky puppy introduction elsewhere I was nervous about taking my pup to any groomer. I read all the online reviews and then emailed Craig. From this I felt like he was on my wavelength and knew what I wanted. I am relieved and delighted. My pup looks amazing and clearly loved Craig. He did a fantastic job. So grateful to have found him. We’ve already booked our next visit. Don’t believe the one malicious review, this groomer knows his stuff, is skilled and gentle with his clients. If only all groomers were like this!

   I have been using Craig to cut and strip our dog for years. We have never had a problem with the quality of his work or attitude. If anything he has been the complete opposite of the negative reviews I have read on here. We missed an appointment once, our fault and we didn't call to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. He was fantastic about it. Having used another dog groomer once before I can assure you that Craig is very professional and offers a fantastic service. The negative reviews seem very personal and I doubt that any business could last as long as Doggie Style has if these accusations were true.
