Helpful, friendly and honest. Squeezed me in at the last minute to check an engine noise - my car didn't actually need any work - but they were just absolutely lovely, explained everything, checked my car, called me promptly and reassured me. We live locally, I'll 100% be using Car Clinic moving forward.
Dropped car off last night first thing this morning received a call to say the car is ready. Fantastic service from a friendly bunch. I will definitely be using them again.
I take my car here every year for its service and MOT. They do a first class job. On the rare occasion when they couldn't do the job (specialist exhaust work), they recommended a place that could.
My wife's car overheated and we desperately needed the car for our upcoming holiday. No mechanics, anywhere, had any availability for more than a week. We were told by the car clinic that they would call us if they had anything become free but to not hold out hope as they were very busy too. They called back the same afternoon to say they could have a look and diagnose the issue but, depending on the issue, they may not be able to fix it quickly. I dropped it to them and they could tell instantly what the issue was. A faulty water pump. I was quoted around £350 for the work, including parts, which I was happy with. They amazingly decided to work on it late and had it ready for the morning and the final price went down to just under £300. They could have charged the quoted amount, or more, and I'd have been happy with it. They did say that the timing was pure luck and it's never normally that quick but I'm still really happy they did it and the honest pricing was great as several other garages went straight in with quoting head gasket replacement for between £1200 and £1800. I want to say a massive thank you for bailing us out of a sticky situation. Thanks, Alan & Amy
The loveliest staff! I cheekily asked to be squeezed in to replace my wing mirror adjustment switch with only a couple days notice, and they were happy to accommodate that. I turned up later than planned due to traffic, that was no issue for them. They told me to take a seat and they replaced the switch within 5 minutes so I didn’t have to faff about with taxis between the garage & home (which is the other side of town) so saved me at least £40. Ever so grateful for their flexibility and amazing customer service! :) will definitely be dropping in a box of chocolates or two to express my gratitude. Thank you!
Been using this garage for over 15 years. Kev ans the staff are spot on and do a bloody good job. Never had any issues or reason to complain. Kept them busy with women on me car choicesb
I took my car to The Car Clinic after hearing some great reviews. I rang in advance and asked if they could help with an electrical fault in my car and they said it was something they could do. I was surprised by this as most garages I contacted informed me that electrical work wasn't something they specialised in nevertheless, I was pleased to find a garage who were able to take on the job. After inspecting my car, The Car Clinic told me they couldn't fix it and charged me just over £89. This invoice was said to be for labour and parts, which consisted of changing some bulbs. The Car Clinic did not contact me before this work was carried out. If they had done so, I would have informed them that I already had the new bulbs sitting unopened in the car. The bulbs that were put into my car blew all of a few days later. Originally, The Car Clinic agreed to take another look but have not returned my call or message. Since then, another garage has informed me they did not even fit the correct bulbs. I feel like as an inexperienced car person, I was taken advantage of. I can only describe their service as a daylight robbery. Going forwards, I will be contacting trading standards and urge others to think twice before using this Garage
I used car clinic earlier in the year for my MOT and I was really impressed. The guys are so friendly and make you feel very welcome and at ease in the garage. I took it for a full service this week and I've picked it up and it's like driving a new car!! I'm so impressed. They are so thorough but fair. Never said I've needed something doing if I don't. Don't think i'll go anywhere else again and I will recommend to all my friends and family! Thanks again guys.
Called these guys as needed my wife’s car looking at and got me in asap. Usual local garage had 3 week wait. Absolutely impressed with how quick to diagnose problem and rectify the same day. Drop link supplied and fitted for less than I would of expected to pay so very happy with peace of mind service. Would highly recommend and will defo be using going forward.
