Was caught in a messy situation yesterday where my rear exhaust bush broke and left my exhaust dragging along the road, they quickly helped me to string it back onto the car at no cost as a quick fix so I could continue driving. Thank you ! x

Repairs were handled swiftly, with clear communication and top‑quality workmanship. Unfortunately, the receptionist Amanda’s unprovoked condescension and repeated interruptions left me feeling belittled and unwelcome. It’s astonishing that she continues in a customer facing role and treats a paying client with such disdain - her conduct tarnishes the hard work of others and what would otherwise be an exemplary service.

First class experience at Surecar in Bristol. We sold a car to a customer in the area, and unfortunately it broke down. The vehicle was recovered to Surecar, and they diagnosed and repaired it first time. We found them to be very honest and trustworthy. Furthermore, they gave a competitive quote at the outset, and then when the final bill came in, it was over £100 less than the quotation - when does that ever happen?! Thanks Surecar, we actually sell a lot of cars to the Bristol area for some reason, and will definitely use you again if we have another issue. James

Used them 3 times now. First and second time no issues, but the third time apparently required £69 to change a headlight bulb. Apparently 3 different mechanics couldn't do it without taking the bumper off. However I did it myself as soon as I got the car. They then tried to charge me full price for a retest. Also, the lady on the reception was rude and interrupting, especially when I tried to speak to the gentleman who was actually serving me. They lie and try to overcharge. Coincidence that my mates car, taken on the same day, had the exact same issues come up in the MOT? Took to another garage and passed first time, with no advisories.

Got both coils changed for MOT repair. Managed to squeeze me in fairly quickly considering it's near impossible to get a decent mechanic at the moment. Quite satisfied with the work. Customer service was great and at a fair price.

A workshop I will not trust. I was about to have my car repaired because of a very low clutch pedal and a gearbox that was working hard. However, something was bothering me. I decided to have it checked out by another mechanic. It turned out that the clutch pump needed replacing which would cost me £79 plus labour of £40. Surecar rang me to inform me that a clutch replacement would be needed which would cost £690. And it would turn out that I would pay for the wrong diagnosis, the wrong part would be replaced and immediately, because the problem would remain, I would have to pay for another guess at what might be wrong. So before you make the decision to take your car to this workshop, think a few times. You could save a lot of money.

I took my car here for the first time as it was recommended by another garage who could not deal with a water leak so I took it here. I was informed they will find the leak and repair it and it will cost £30 an hours. When I got a call to say they have found the leak and repaired it they said to me the price is £60 an hour I challenged them but they denied they ever mentioned £30 an hour. I then paid it and asked if the work is under warranty and if it is still leaking will you fix it free of charge. The guy said yes. A couple of days later it was still leaking with water inside the car and took it back and they have said they will charge me again £60 an hour even though they said they will fix for free if it’s still leaking. Never have I come across a company who lie to your face. They are a fraud and daylight robbery company.

Very good service and communication from Matt, every effort was made to get my car ready for me on time on a Saturday morning . Have used this garage over 25yrs, they have become a bit expensive lately like everything else.

I took my first car almost two years ago for MOT at Surecar. I had absolutely no problem with it. He told me that my car has failed the MOT and he advised me to scrap it and said ' I can take it off your hands for free'. but I needed it to return back home. On my way home I bought another car from a neighbouring motoring business on the same day and I was paid a good price for my old car, I assumed if a working car fails the MOT they can at least use or sell some of its parts as they were working perfectly fine. I took my new car lately for MOT to Surecar for convenience, for close proximity to my home. My new car failed its MOT even though its mileage is less than 21.000 and had only one owner before me. Among the reasons listed for failing the MOT, the report classified as a 'major defect' one of its screen wipes claiming 'it does not clear the windscreen effectively'. I was shocked because it is almost new and works perfectly well and passed the MOT test in another motoring business later on the next morning. Besides I researched online the MOT regulations, the screen wipe can fail if it was missing or damaged. The Surecar estimates offered to me for repairs and parts were high, as an example, the price of two tyres of an unknown brand that was not mentioned anywhere online is £116, I bought a brand new pair of the same specifications somewhere else for £80.
