   I would like to thank the really nice lady at Stone garage for her assistance in checking my tyre pressures. I had been on a trip to Slimbridge when my tyre pressure warning light came on about 500 yds from the garage so I stopped and asked if they had an airline I could use. The really kind lady in the kiosk not only directed me to the airline but also checked all four tyres. It was a pleasure to find there are still some very kind and helpful people around. Thank you very much.

   Excellent service! I needed a MOT quickly as I got a couple appointments with other garages cancelled at the last minute. They squeezed me in just a few days after I initially called them up. Price is not the absolute cheapest but still very, very competitive and reasonable. The chap who assisted me was pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. No nonsense at all. I will most definitely be going back.

   A classic, local spot for anyone in the Thornbury or Local area. Helpful staff, efficient service. Personally I've been going here since I past my driving test In 2015, not because I have a personal investment in the business, as I've had many choices to chose otherwise but because I'm positive they will get the job done as soon as they can.    Trustworthy Independent Local Garage. Experienced Mechanics. I switched to Stone Garage several years ago following appalling treatment at another local garage on a nearby hill, where they'll put your car on their expensive diagnostics machine, even if it just needs a spark plug replacing or a new battery in your key fob. It's such a relief to find a local garage with experienced, trustworthy, honourable, mechanics. I would wholeheartedly recommend this local gem. Book well in advance as they are very popular.
