   I had a very disappointing experience with Auto Classico and cannot recommend them. I took my Mercedes 260E in on 22nd July for a transmission fluid change. Beforehand, the car was fully drivable with only a minor shift issue. Michael agreed the correct Dexron oil should be used. When I collected the car on 25th July, it drove far worse: jerky gear changes, slipping, and no 4th gear, making it unsafe to drive. When I called, I was shocked to learn the wrong fluid (MVLV BL9003) had been used instead of Dexron. The car was collected again but communication was poor. After over a week, I was told only 50% of the oil had been replaced because the job was “too time-consuming.” Despite this, I was handed the car back in the same unsafe condition. When I requested a refund, I was refused and told the car now needs a full gearbox rebuild – something never mentioned before. This experience has been unprofessional from start to finish: wrong fluid used, lack of communication, poor treatment as a customer, and ultimately my car left in a dangerous state. I now need to pay another garage to put things right. I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting their vehicle with Auto Classico.

   Disappointed. I visited on the 12th April to get a quote for some repairs. They know their stuff and I was reassured I found a local garage I could rely on to get some work done. I was told they'd cost up the work and get back to me. After several phone calls to chase up, leaving messages with various people and getting told various reasons and several promises of a call back. It's now the 24th May and they still haven't quoted the job. So clearly they're not interested, but instead of just telling me, they've wasted my time.
