Excellent service and trustworthy. They always go a great job of keeping my ageing car in good running order and will always do their best to squeeze you in in an emergency. I've been using them for years for my regular service and mot, can't fault them. Highly recommended but book well in advance, they are are popular!
Do not use this garage. I had my cat replaced last Oct/nov time, a week after a noise started coming from the engine as is air was escaping from somewhere, which was worse when you accelerated. I took it back to the garage and they said there is a small hole which isn’t an issue and isn’t going to damage the engine and I would have to pay to get it fixed and advised me it’s not needed. Me not knowing anything about cars was like ok weird but ok. In Dec that year I made them do my MOT and they passed it. Forward on to this Dec my MOT failed due to admission and all because that hole that they 1. Said was fine and 2. Won’t cause any damage is actually a big issue and it where the had replaced the cat and had created that hole and that sound that I took it back in for was the cat blowing onto the gasket, I have had to have the gasket replaced and the cat taken out, welding the hole shut this garage caused and put all back together. I am so angry that this garage said nothing was an issue and also passed my MOT last year when it should never of passed. So dodge and now severely out of pocket.
absolutely fantastic garage! alongside bringing my car here they sorted an exceptionally weird problem with a JDM van that I use which is hard to get parts for, they went the extra mile to make sure everything was sound, the value was great too, thank you!
As a female, I can honestly say that I can highly recommend CT garages for being reliable and trustworthy. There is always the fear that garages might take advantage if they think you don't understand mechanics but this is clearly not the case here. I feel lucky to have a local garage I can trust.
I run a fleet of vans and am fortunate enough to know a few good garages. These guys are up with the best. I recently called with a suspected alternator failure. I was booked in quickly and the vehicle was back on the road with 48hrs of breaking down. I've never found the costs anything other than reasonable and never had to return because a fault wasn't fixed. A recommended business!
Liar and unprofessional, we brought our car there and asked if they can do a full report of our wheels’ alignment, they said they can definitely do it for us, so we paid £66, however after we paid, we were told that they were unable to provide any report! The reason we brought our car here and paid was to get a professional alignment report which they promised us they would provide to us, but after we had paid, they said they couldn’t and what they have done is correcting the alignment for us which we don’t need before getting any report. So we asked them to set our alignment back to what it was so that we can get the report from somewhere else. In a word, they lied to us, charged our £66 for nothing!!! I would not recommend this garage to anyone.
Recently bought a van that I’m converting into a camper so I needed to find a reliable good garage for maintenance moving forward. So pleased I found this garage in Bristol. Had an MOT and full service as well as a change in break pads. The staff were really helpful, advised me appropriately and sorted everything all within a few hours. Will be going back in the the future
I brought my car in after my clutch pedal got stuck to the floor. CT Garages investigated the issue, and provided me with several options on how to go about the repair. The customer service was great, I would definitely recommend CT Garages!
