Mike and joe at cairns managed to get us out of trouble when we let our mot run out. Booked is in at next available slot too suit us and got the work done promptly and efficently, and back on the road
Mike and his team have consistently given me and my aging Freelander top quality advice and service. The loyal Landrover has never been looked after so well !
Having used a string of jokers in Bristol who had all either installed various parts wrongly or damaged things, I took a chance on CRG some years ago and have used them ever since. They are a rarity IMHO, accommodating, take an interest, know their stuff and get the job done asap at a sensible price - consummate pros. I almost didn't write this as I don't want them to get too busy - but fairs fair, they've earned the reputation. (*looks for the sixth star to click on)
I was recommended to this garage by someone locally as we were visiting the area. We had an issue with our air con and I could see from their diary that they were rammed with work. However, they freed up space somehow and did a great job, good price, great service and if I were local - I would be there regularly! Thank you.
I never write reviews but I knew I had to because I had the most brilliant experience with this garage. As a young woman, I pretty much always get scammed by garages, and all my female friends/relatives have had very similar experiences, and it makes getting MOTs and taking the car to be fixed/checked over SO stressful. This is the first time a garage hasn't completely made up loads of things wrong with the car just to get money out of me. I took it for an MOT, it was done in about an hour and they charged me exactly what they initially said they would. And as a bonus, the guy working there was so polite/friendly! Genuinely have nothing to fault about this garage- definitely going to be recommending it to everyone I know (:
This is why local garages are the best. I shut something in my boot release mechanism while away from Bristol and the boot wouldn't quite shut properly. I took the car to the nearest Kia garage who wouldn't even have a look without booking it in. I got back to Bristol and called Cairns road who said that even though they had no slots they'd have a quick visual look and see if there was something they could do. Five minutes later and a small chunk of plastic was removed and the boot shut perfectly. That is good service and I am very grateful

Took my knackered old Skoda here as it was making a funny noise. They diagnosed the problem and gave an estimate for the cost. The work was not worth it given the age and mileage, but they did not charge me a penny for the diagnosis. They could easily have made a quick £60-80, but did not. I would say that demonstrates honesty, decency and integrity which are three of the main things (other than technical ability) that you want from a business.
