Sean, Joe & all the guys at Vic Scully are friendly, professional and have always helped sort out problems with my car. I took my Vauxhall in this morning as I had a problem with the exhaust. Joe had it fixed brilliantly, and I was back on the road in 10 mins. Thanks for your help, it's much appreciated.

Dishonest Service – Cost Me Twice and Damaged My Trust I took my car to this garage for an MOT, and they strongly recommended a full service, which they claimed was thorough and worth the high cost. I agreed and paid a significant amount expecting professional care. However, after collecting my car, I noticed something felt off. I took it to another garage for a second opinion, and they confirmed that the full service had not been performed at all — the engine oil was old, filters hadn’t been changed, and the car was still in need of basic maintenance. As a result, I had to pay again for a proper full service elsewhere. This not only cost me double the money, but also risked long-term damage to my engine due to neglected maintenance. The experience was frustrating, financially draining, and completely avoidable had the garage acted with integrity. This kind of dishonesty severely damages customer trust and the garage’s reputation. Word spreads quickly, and I will make sure others are aware of how I was misled. If you value transparency, professionalism, and actual service for your money — look elsewhere.

Brought car in for few service checks. Been advised to sort few things, one of them was need of nee battery. Unfortunately for this garage, the brand new battery was just fitted few weeks earlier. The most strange thing is how NICE are ALL the responses of the owner himself to the bad reviews. Well done mr Nice Guy.

I've had consistently excellent service from the team at Vic Scully over the last few years, whether that's MOTs and annual services or calling in ad hoc to check out a problem that's arisen with my car. They've always been helpful and responsive and it's reassuring to have a trusted local garage.

Been refused to fit second hand car part that cost £80. Instead was told to fit genuine car manufacturer part that is prices £550. While most people struggle and cost of living on the rise can use ease your politics in the garage and be more helpful?

Been using these guys for years. Gove a decent price, honest assessments and work and have fixed all problems ive ever had. Ive never felt ripped off by them like I have with other Bristol garages. Would highly recommend.

Decent garage. Nothing amazing but their prices are reasonable and they seem fair.

The clutch on my car went and this garage have repaired it for me at really short notice. Polite to speak to on the phone, kept me updated and called as soon as it was ready to pick up. Really happy with the service provided and would definitely recommend! Thankyou

The ultimate no.1 garage to go to. I recently had some serious work (clutch replacement, changing 2 bearings in the gearbox). I had left the car there on wednesday and had told them I would need it by saturday.Saturday morning I got a call, that I can pick up the car. They kept their word. It was also reasonably priced, they were not trying to rip off. I can only recommend this place.I would also like to mention Dave, who was extremely helpful. Thank you Vic Scully, I will only go to you, if I'll ever need a repair work.

(VIC SCULLY,) Worse Garage Ever. Took my car in last week, to have the brake abs pump changed, they caused more damage than good, did nt do a very good job, said they would do the job properly, did not disconnect the battery as they should of, caused all sorts of electrical problems, 49 faults in total.Had a auto electrician out, he said that my gear stick is stuck in park, where they didnt remove the battery. I spoke to DAVE from the garage so called machanic, said he did nt remove the battery, then spoke to SHAUN the owner, he said he did, then said that he would nt of took the job on, after they created these problems. No Apologise, they could nt be bothered, Now im stuck with a car i cant use, and have to take it somewhere else to get it properly repaired.........Call yourself a garage, if this how you treat your clientel, just remember its the public that keeps you in work. If i could gave you a minus ten rating i would of. your not worthy of one star.
