Claim to be a Ford specialist. Took my Ford there for a simple window repair. Tried to quote me nearly £400. So ordered the part myself. They took the door off and charged me £110!!!! For taking the door off!!! And didn’t even put it back on!!!!!! STAY CLEAR AT ANY COST. TOOK THEM 2 DAYS TO DO A JOB THAT I (a non mechanic) DID IN 2 HOURS. ridiculous garage.

I was quoted £,1300 for an MOT. I knew the car wasn’t that bad so I took it elsewhere. Total price for the REAL MOT was £190. Beware!

Guess These Mechanics are just as bad I had my 2004 Honda brought in due to a Coolant hose explode, they replaced it and was told they did a pressure and Leak Test no problem. after 2 weeks the car Started Over Heating and I told them and they said bring it in. after they looked they told me the Condenser was blocked and causing the Issue and the Radiator was Leaking and quoted me £850. But they were trying to convince me that it was the Condenser that was Causing the Issue and they Just said the leak was "big enough to see". Like how Big was it???? Now keep in mind I worked as a mechanic for 8 years back in Australia and just arrived in the UK and don't have Tools to do the work Myself so I thought I'd trust these guys to fix the car until I'm settled in. After I said I'll bring the car back another day, they charged me an Inspection fee of £75 when they didn't tell me Prior to bringing the Car in and they Fixed the Hose and tested for Pressure and Leaks 2 weeks prior. Clearly they missed something went testing the Car so why should I pay for another inspection. They tried to treat me like I'm stupid and say it must have happened with in the 2 weeks and its done 500 Miles after leaving which was a lie, the car only did 300 Miles and that's just to go to work and the Shops. And on top of that, I explained to them that they should have done this and that but also tell me before bring in the car there is an inspection fee, the bloke sitting in the Chair, leaning back with his hands behind his head says "Aren't you suppose to be a mechanic?". Like HOW DARE YOU INSULT ME LIKE THAT. You don't know me. How unprofessional >:( After that we settled at £45 for the Inspection fee (which I regret paying) and after I had access to Tools I replaced the Radiator which had a massive Hole in it (which would have been helpful to know), the condenser was Fine it needed a clean and on top of that, they missed that the Head gasket was causing the Overheating. Like if I managed to find it "a bloke that's suppose to be a mechanic" than these "Mechanics" should have spotted it too Very Unprofessional, Lied any chance they get and tried to rip me off and act like I didn't know what I was talking about. Properly because I'm not from here, they could get an easy pay day. If your going to try and rip people off, don't try and rip off a fellow Mechanic

RAC towed my car to Brookfield late Sunday night with a broken driveshaft, they had a new one fitted and the car ready to go by midday the next day. Couldn't have asked for more, great turn around and very reasonable price.

As a neighbour and he comes to my shop, I thought it would be best to take the car and check. After 4 days of waiting, they called and said that my car needs a new Heath exchanger, I called Mercedes they priced me for £187. But they guy on the phone told me £870 plus labour. Even though I know the owner. I think it’s rip off. They told me I had to pay £380 because they diagnosed the problem. They should have called me to let me know before if I had to agree with the price. Other place fixed the the problem for £200. I don’t know what to say ?

Have used a few times. Seemed OK and our latest service we asked for the full works as recommended by the manufacturers guidance for millage. Again this seemed fine at first and reasonably priced. However...... Shortly after a "full service" and MOT we noticed problems. After a basic investigation we found the oil was over half empty. No leak any where and after we topped this up ourselves there was no problem so it seems like they either did not do this basic check or may have actually removed some oil, but not replaced (it was very low). We also had a overheating problem everytime we drove on the motorway. We took the car do a different garage and eventually they figured out that the water pump had not ever been replaced in the car and this was causing the issue. This is a relatively cheap fix, but cannot be done without removing the cam belt, which is expensive. They said any sensible mechanic would replace this when replacing a cam belt as standard to avoid this issue. Broomfield had given us a new cam belt a few months before (which should have lasted years) but not replaced the water pump at the same time. So we needed yet another belt months after. So far this Brookfield service has now cost us over £1000 in trips to the garage in less than a year to figure out and fix problems that a proper service would have prevented. We have asked around and heard similar stories from friends this year. Something odd is going on with this garage recently. We will not be using again.

Been taking the car to Brookfield's for ~5 years, they're great. Squeezed in a repair on a Saturday at the last minute when we were depending on the car to go on holiday that evening, they absolutely saved the day. Highly recommended.

Excellent from start to finish. I called to get a quote and to find out when there was a space to book. Other garages had been unhelpful, quoting a high minimum labour charge (just to have look), with a weeks wait. When I called Brookfield I was advised to come straight in. Within a couple of hours I got a call to say it was fixed. The team were polite, helpful, professional and did a brilliant job. This will now be my favourite Bristol garage.

Brookfield Garage is fantastic, the best garage I've used in Bristol, I won't go anywhere else. They are very professional, knowledgeable, honest, reliable and organised. I take my car here for MOT, servicing and repairs. They are very honest about what needs doing and whether it will be worth it (given the age and likely life expectancy of my car). Once I had to get a repair done to go on a long journey and they really busted a gut to make sure that the car was ready in time. Great garage!
