   Exceptional Kindness and Service My car broke down while I was in transit to Yeovil, and I had to leave it at Smith’s Green Ore Garage, Green Ore, Wells, Somerset, BA5 3HA, until the RAC could recover it. While I waited (in the middle of winter), Barry Smith, the garage owner, and his lovely wife Liz showed me kindness I’ll never forget. Liz kept checking on me regularly to make sure I was warm, bringing me coffee, chocolates, and bananas. When she realised my phone had died, she went to get the family van so I could charge it safely. It wasn’t just customer service — it was true human compassion. If I lived anywhere near the Green Ore area, this would be my go-to garage. Barry and Liz, you’re a blessing. I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas. Thank you for being the kind of people who restore faith in humanity.

   Absolutely excellent service with a smile and a laugh! We broke down on our way to the airport at 5.30am. I had no success with my insurance company, but luckily we managed to limp the car along to the garage, where we parked in the MOT bay with a note and email explaining. My partner's brother in law was our saviour & took us to the airport in time. We contacted Barry while on holiday and arranged for the key to be dropped off so that he could diagnose, and ultimately fix the problem. We collected the car on our return from holiday, and enjoyed a laugh with Barry and John. Will definitely use again - many thanks for being so accommodating!

   Top service, great value. I won’t take any vehicles anywhere else. A garage you can trust and have faith in. I have used them for MOT and repairs on the campervan (welding arranged) and tyres and work on any car I have had. I have used them for years, they are busy for a reason. Book in advance or drop in to see when they can fit you in. Great bunch of guys.

   Coming back from a family holiday, 90 miles from home. My car desired to have a major water leak and was overheating. The guys at the garage were amazing they diagnosed the problem free of charge recommended the sealent i needed and repaired the car for me within the hour . I had my young children in the car aswell. They couldn't have been more helpful and only charged me for the sealant. Fantastic service thank you so much!!!!

   Incredible fast service when we got caught in a pickle! We had a strange noise coming from the car when we passed this friendly little garage. With a forecourt full of cars they quickly nipped us in and sorted out the problem in minutes! All with a smile and even topped up the empty washer fluid!
