I’ve just had an MOT and service at Luccombe Garage, Bristol. It was easy to arrange and the service was efficient and helpful and a reasonable price too. A good place to use, after my previous garage Karly Cars had closed.
What an incredible garage - I have an elderly Peugeot which my 4 son's have all driven that was coming to the end of its life. James gave me an honest appraisal of all my options when it went in for a service and MOT and concluded it really wasn't worth saving. As luck would have it he then sourced a great buy replacement for me and had it ready for collection just before my MOT died on the Peugeot! Outstanding service and would 100% recommend this garage to everyone in Bristol.
I could not recommend Luscombe enough. Having previously been quoted £800 to fix my clutch cylinder, I was looking for a second opinion and Luscombe garage was completely transparent that my car didn't need any work. A fantastic, truth worthy garage.
So glad I discovered Luccombe who are now my regular garage. They’ve always been really friendly, clear and professional but recently went above and beyond. I had my berlingo booked in with them to check my brakes which had been making a funny noise, but when I went to drive it round to them, discovered I had a completely flat tyre. James dropped everything to drive to meet me, pumped up my tyre for me, enough for me to drive it in for them to fix it (and my brakes) all within the same day. Will not hesitate to use them again and have recommended them to all my friends.
Couldn’t recommend this garage enough. Very friendly and helpful service. Very accommodating and flexible with booking the car in last minute and in advance. Had my car looked at by Marcus recently, who took the time to explain things very clearly and upfront about options and costs. Feel very trusting in their service - which I haven’t always felt at garages before! Thank you, highly recommended this garage
Fantastic 5* service from James - I was concerned about exhaust rattle & James checked out the issue & reassured me immediately, confirming that he would fix before the end of the day (despite being fully booked). I couldn’t have asked for a better service & all with a smile!
Top garage - competent and honest. Accurately diagnosed my engine issues (where other garages had failed) and went the extra mile to identify the most cost effective solution, even where this involved no fee for them. I've used many garages in Bristol, and there are none better than Luccombe
Excellent professional honest service. The throttle broke on our car and they worked really hard to get it fixed for us as quickly as possible. They were clear and upfront with how much everything was going to cost and even showed us the part they took out the car to explain how it was broken. Really appreciate the service and the skill and hard work. Will definitely be returning for MOTs and any other repairs. Thanks very much.
Brilliant service and friendly staff. Took my car in yesterday as the brake pads were shot & I also had an issue with the exhaust. They did the brake pads nice and promptly for a good price and sorted the exhaust for no extra charge - will definitely look to use them for any future car issues.
My car broke down and Luccombe came out to pick it up for me and gave me great advice, had an expert look over it and although it was not worth fixing they were kind enough to let me leave the car there for a few days whilst I sorted scrapping. They then helped me out with emptying and taking number plates off etc, very, very nice and honest bunch of people would highly recommend using and will certainly be my go to for any future work! Thanks guys
