We bought a Skoda Fabia from Tickenham Garage a couple of months ago and we have been very pleased with it. The garage provided a great service and sold us an excellent car at a very fair price. We would certainly use Tickenham Garage again.
Bought a Mazda 3 from Tom at Tickenham Garage 3 months ago and my warranty has just expired, so I thought I'd leave a review. Car: The car is faultless. Tom was happy to assist me with a tyre pressure light, and even offered to have the car looked at under warranty if the problem persists. I followed the instructions and the light never appeared again. Garage: Very friendly staff. They allowed me to fully inspect the car, and take it for a test drive. Also showed me how to work the infotainment screen and built in sat-nav. Tom even had the car polished before I went back to collect it. Also +1 for the very friendly dog! Buying: The buying process was very straight forward, got the new V5 in the post within a few days. Overall, very good experience, cannot think of anything negative about it. Very happy with the car!
100% WOULD RECOMMEND. I initially took my car to a main dealer with a suspected failing wetbelt and was told I needed a new engine. I refused to believe this was the case and so phoned up TG for some advice, a second opinion and a single phone call gave me more faith in them than any main dealer. Respectful, polite, patient and knowledgeable from the mechanics to the receptionist. I was informed there is an option to drop off and collect the car outside of trading hours which was incredibly helpful. Within an hour of dropping off my car I was called requesting consent for certain inspections and by the end of the day my wetbelt had been replaced and my car was ready to collect, running perfectly again. 100% would use TG again.
Good old fashioned customer service linked with technical expertise. If you live locally Tickenham Garage will pick up and return your car home after servicing. If something needs fixing they will try real fixing rather than just installing a new part. If a major component needs replacing they explore options for you: OEM, pattern part or maybe a refurbished item. This enables the customer to keep an older vehicle safely on the road at a reasonable cost. Always cheerful, always helpful. Try them, you won't regret it.

My car was towed to this recommended garage by the RAC when the clutch failed. Excellent service received. Good communication on progress of repair. Work quickly undertaken to get me back on the road. A further fault identified whilst on the racks which was undertaken at the time (following confirmation by myself to proceed). Reasonable costing which was the same as quote provided. Really can't recommend this garage enough. Thank you

Excellent customer service, very experienced. The team talked through what type of tyres and price was best suited for my car. I highly recommend this garage and will be using them again when I need to seek advice or have work carried out.
As someone who ran garages for twenty years I can honestly say this is the best garage you'll find for miles. They keep my vehicles in tip -top condition , would never even think of trying to manufacture repairs ( unlike most main dealers I've encountered) and to my mind are surprisingly inexpensive. I now travel up from Wells and recommend them to others locally who also have nothing but praise for them.
