   Heads up to Joe at Aviva fulfillment Centre for dealing with a very upset owner of a brand new car only 1 week old which was damaged in a hospital car park with person responsible driving off without leaving any contact details. Have a protected no claims discount of 16 years so unsure how to sort out mess but he talked me through what happens with easy clarity. Thanks to Joe for being so understanding. Upset owner from Glasgow.

   Nightmare to deal with. Been trying to sort out an issue with my car insurance. I primarily find their call handlers difficult to deal with as English is clearly not their first language and they are in my experience rather unhelpful. Plus they’ve been giving me conflicting advice which has left me pulling my hair out. And then of course there’s the issue of the phone calls they make to your number but don’t actually speak when you answer. Ticking the ‘we tried to contact you’ box, obviously. I’ve repeatedly raised complaints regarding their appalling customer service but they remain unresolved as I write. Avoid insuring with this lot. I certainly won’t be renewing with them.

   Due to an escape of water in January our house had to be fully renovated. Aviva were amazing in working with loss adjuster and senior building surveyor, who arranged all the works to be carried out by React Building Company who did a fantastic job in making our home new again. We are now back home and appreciate efforts of all the above very much. Would highly recommend.

   Without doubt the very worst company to do business with. Its customer service is the most frustrating experience of my life. When and if you get through by telephone the person is rude does not do anything you ask. Refuses to put you through to a manager and refuses to take a complaint. Is also in breech of the GDPR as refused a GDPR request. I regret doing business with this company and will not take out any further policies with them.

   Made a claim on my critical illness policy March 2023. Gave all the details of my care provider then they moved the goalposts. They wanted confirmation from a different source. They then chased the wrong consultant for months. I did all the work and finally they got the medical report a fortnight ago. Phoned today for an update and it's not been looked at. This company is in no way anyone to do business with. Living or dying, Aviva will do anything rather than pay!!!!!
