   I've traveled far and wide to find specialists in classic car restoration that were recommended to me by name, none of them come close to what Dean at Keynsham Auto Engineers was able to do with my car. Seriously, there are so many slap dash garages out there & I can say with confidence this is not one of them. I am extatic about how my car restoration was carried out. Dean had to do a little extra work on my car to get it to standard and still charged me the agreed price, amazing nowadays, especially over the Xmas period. I have an MOT booked in with him at the end of the month & I am sure he will be my new go-to garage for every MOT & any required restoration in the years to come. Top notch work, I really appreciate it. I keep doing that thing where I park it, walk away & can't stop looking back at it. Amazing.

   The owner, Dean is a really nice fellow who's experience and dedication to classic car restoration is top class. My Landrover Defender is being restored by him and I know that its going to look perfect when I collect it because that's how all his restorations turn out.

   So few points to put across here. The quality of repair is very good, but the negatives outweigh the benefits. So, booked my '97 E36 in to get the rear arches welded up. They then said about getting the front wings and the jacking points done to so I said yes, may as well get it all done. I had no updates at all for 2 weeks and I was constantly chasing them to see what was going on with my car, very bad customer service. Finally after 4 weeks I get told I can collect the vehicle. Only to find out when I get there, I need to spend more money on my car as they have basically made it unfit for use on the road. The original side indicators that go on the wings no longer fit and two of my front wheel bolts were missing as the threads were supposedly damaged. So basically, they had fitted the wrong wings. I also noticed that I'm missing 3 bolts from the scuttle panel cover and one of my interior panels was hanging off and hadn't been fitted properly. I'm pretty appalled at the lack of quality control, not only did it cost me a fortune, I'm now having to spend more money on wheel bolts, new indicators and all the bolts that are missing due to their incompetence. My car needs more TLC but I definitely won't be returning here that's for sure. Yes, the welding and spraying that was done was very high quality, but the fact they've fitted the wrong wings, damaged my wheel bolts and lost copious amounts of nuts/bolts is completely unacceptable. I'd avoid this place if you want your car back in one piece.
