Ridiculously poor service. Incorrect prescription given and wrong dosage advised. Offered “goodwill refund” to make amends, which I am still having to chase almost 2 month later after it was offered.
Had some cosmetic work, very happy . Sarj and the nurse were amazing. Great advice and felt so comfortable. The reception team are full of knowledge and so warm and kind. I had no confidence to smile from years ago and thanks to these guys I can. Thank you everyone. Brad.
Syed was professional and gentle and his calm manner put me at ease when I have been putting off hygienist appointments due to previous unpleasant experiences which have caused me to become very anxious. He was very careful and it was all completely pain free. I am now prepared to return for regular treatment to help my dental health which I was beginning to neglect due to anxiety. He also explained everything really clearly. Thank you so much.
What can I say?! Credit where it's due. I lost a filling in my front tooth and unfortunately it was time to have the said tooth removed and another tooth added to my denture! Gérard the dentist and his assistant were very good and removed the tooth. Unfortunately due to a few intolerance, I came over funny and was shaking due to adrenalin. To my rescue came Jackie and JJ. Also initially it bled quite a bit being on regular aspirin. Thankyou to the two ladies who sat be down and offered swabs to try and stop the bleeding and water to drink. It all happened so fast, but I am very grateful for all their help. Two days later I returned to have denture refitted by Gérard and nurse Kirsty who is always jolly, helpful and puts you at ease. Thankyou kirsty sargood for being your polite jolly self. Thankyou to the Bradford nurse, sorry didn't get your name. I would thoroughly recommend this dentist to any one. Staff are very professional, the areas are very clean and they are very good st making you feel at ease. Thankyou to all involved in my treatment and for turning it around in 48 hours and a thankyou to the guy who does the dentures. Excellent service as always.
Dentists seem nice enough (I’m not a patient but my young son is) and are really patient with him being incredibly nervous. However, reception staff can be really unfriendly and seem more interested in carrying on their own conversation rather than actually seeing to patients. The way I was spoken to made me to feel like an idiot and an inconvenience for just trying to book the next appointment and it made for an unpleasant experience.
Great experience once again at Dental Care Trowbridge. Always feel at ease when seeing Sim and Shane and reception are always really friendly and happy to help. Highly recommend
Whilst it's good to still get NHS treatment and be able to book regular check ups, they do not demonstrate any additional procedures in dealing with nervous (frightened) patients, despite the blurb on the website. The new layout also means the doors to the dentist rooms open directly onto reception. This means you can hear when a dentist is using a drill. Not well thought out and very poor for nervous patients.
I wrote the following a while ago.....I was referred to this dentist when the lovely Mr Seaton moved here years ago. But since he's left, this place has gone down hill. Like the doctors, not assigned to a specific dentist. In the last month after booking in an emergency appointment, my 2 appointments afterwards to have a filling to ease the pain, have been cancelled on the actual day. With 4 dentists, the next available appointment is in 3 weeks! Not good enough! Especially for someone who gets anxious going to the dentist! UPDATE: I booked another emergency appointment and was able to get an appointment soon afterwards with the lovely Sim, she made up for the stress of cancellations :). Thank you
Ioana saw me as an Invisalign emergency before I went on holiday as I’ve recently moved to Trowbridge. She was friendly, welcoming and very accommodating to my situation. I have since been back to see her for further Invisalign treatment and I cannot recommend her highly enough!
Best Practice I have ever attended and without doubt the best dentist I have ever had in Sim, who not only does a fantastic job of putting patients at ease (i'm usually a nervous wreck which has changed massively) but also provides amazing communication into both the plan for me moving forward.. and also giving clear updates as to what is happening when you are in the chair. I couldn't ask for more from a dentist. I used to be so nervous at the dentist I would panic over check ups, now I must say, I kind of look forward to it! Side note for the receptionists who are both lovely and accommodating in terms of appointment booking, and always greeted with a smile and enthusiasm, great job by everyone there, keep being awesome!
