I have been long standing patient with Bank Cottage, and they are always the most helpful and kind staff. In particular I had the most lovely experience with Connor Hichens the other day, who reconstructed my chipped tooth so expertly and quickly I was in complete awe. He kept me so calm and reassured throughout the whole process and was a real professional, I couldn't recommend him and Bank Cottage dental enough!

I joined Bank Cottage after an emergency dental situation, caused by a lack of care by my previous dentist. I've been with them for over 12 years now and even though I could find treatment nearer to where I live, I can't imagine that it would be as thorough. Their service and aftercare is excellent.
I have been a patient at the Bank cottage dental for few years now and I am extremely happy with the experience I get with every visit. Having a slight panic and fear of going to dentists all my life, going to the Bank cottage Dental makes the visit so much easier. On arrival to the Dental practice you are greeted with a warm welcome from the friendly staff and your dentist, hygienist and the dental nurses make me feel relaxed during my visit. Having had some gum disease now for a while I have had to have a very regular appointment (which is not easy for me as I panic about going) to try and get it back in control and with all the treatments and the patience Dr Hitchens has given me, its much better and in good working progress. The practice have been very good through out the whole Covid situation aswell. The hygiene of the practice and social distancing at the waiting room how the waiting chairs were organised was really good and made you feel comfortable entering the practice. Reception staff are very helpful and will do their up most to allocate you the earliest appointments possible. I truly would recommend Bank Cottage Dental to anyone including children because of my experience regarding service, professional care and procedures. I have a bit of distance to travel to get to the practice as I don’t live near Thornbury but the travel is worth it for the care I receive whilst I’m there. As a person with a fear of dentists who had not visited one in 8 years i can honestly say Dentist Tim Lindop and Nurse Lisa made me feel at ease. They were friendly and professional and i cannot recommend them highly enough. Tim took the time to thoroughly explain to me what he was going to do before beginning which took a lot of my anxiety away. After explaining my concerns Tim was very patient and understanding and the injections i received were very gentle. An excellent dental practice with exceptional staff, i wont be going anywhere else in future.

Having suffered pain and poor dental treatment before at some other practices, I was relieved to find that Bank Cottage were a class above all the rest. From initial booking of appointments the staff are always polite and welcoming, the dental nurses, hygienists and dentists are extremely professional providing accurate information on procedures, costs and treatment plans. As a Father of two young children, I want them to be in a safe environment, I can certainly say that Bank Cottage Dental provide that environment which is why we are always prepared to travel 40 miles as an all-round trip for each visit.
