My partner Pete is a NHS patient at this practice and his dentist is Devosree Dee, he just had new dentures fitted and his dentist was very professional, understanding and kind. He had lot of appointments for his new teeth and now he loves his new smile. Definatly recommend this practice. Thank you!!
I had an appointment with Dr. Maria, and she was absolutely amazing! She made me feel completely comfortable, explained everything clearly, and was so gentle throughout the whole process. Truly one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had — highly recommend her!
I needed emergency dental work on a trip from the US and got a next day appointment with MyDentist in Shepton. Saw Dr Dev who handled the problem efficiently and with care, but told me if needed a follow-up visit to let them know - at no extra cost. Had to return a week later and once again Dr Dev who did a great job, but gave me the details of what I need to tell my dentist in the US. Great service - lovely people - especially Dr Dev! Highly recommended.
Dev & Honey are my favourite dentist and dental assistant team ever! A perfect mix of professionalism and warmth. A recipe for putting me at ease. Every part of their work is explained to me before it happens. Repeated check-ins are performed throughout the procedure and they can both seamlessly toggle between attentive concern and friendly rapport. Dev the dentist does most of the communicating but don't let that detract from the superb professionalism of Honey the dental assistant who quietly and expertly plays her part in each procedure. I would be happy to recommend them both to anyone who is looking for a top quality dentistry duo.
After first being told my daughter was no longer eligible for NHS treatment I agreed to pay for private treatment. At the initial appointment I was given a treatment plan and signed to agree to the plan and the (extortionate) costs. Booked and paid for the treatment in advance. AFTER the treatment was carried out I’ve been contacted to say I owe a further £109 as the computer missed off a filling on the treatment plan. I explained I wasn’t happy and that was not what I (as the parent) had agreed and signed for. The dentist herself told me, as a gesture of goodwill for the mistake she would forego the payment for the filling BUT at the cost of my daughter no longer being a patient at the practice! It is bad enough that we have to pay for children’s dental care, let alone being treated that way after paying the best part of £500!
Recently had an appointment, wasn't told my NHS dentist was leaving, they said a letter was sent, it wasn't, receptionist was not pleasant, friendly or welcoming in the slightest. Had an emergency appointment for tooth ache, was seen 3 weeks later, they spent less than 5 seconds looking inside my mouth to do an emergency checkup, did a scan, then told me there wasn't anything wrong. I now within a few weeks have ongoing pain in my mouth - still now have tooth ache, but don't want to pay again at this place, and they didn't even offer to refer me to the nearest NHS dentist that was accepting, and they didn't even know how to find out. Complete disregard for patients care
It was ok but after waiting longer than my appointment time I was in & out in a couple of minutes which even for a check up was quick.
The service we have received from this Dentist begs belief to the fact they are still in business. Had various appointments that were canceled within days after having been booked for month. Just called to try and book an appointment for our young boys. Totally fobbed off by the receptionist, to end the phone call because she couldn’t give us the answers we wanted she simply hung up on us. Quick and effective approach I guess? Called up the High Street Dental practise in shepton and had a appointment for both boys booked and paid for in under 10 minutes.
I have had 3 lots of treatment this year with Anca. Each time she explained to me what she was doing and made sure that I wasn't in pain. From the time I walked through the door I found everyone very polite and helpful.
