   I decided to have an implant after having a tooth extracted I went to Dentale Portishead, the service I received was exemplary the process took place over several months and today I had the crown fitted which was the final part of the procedure. I am very pleased with the outcome the service was very professional and I was kept in the picture as to what was happening at each stage. I can without reservation recommend Dentale for tooth implants.

   Where do I start! Paid over £6500 and was worse off than what I went in with! I went in for 2 implant 4 teeth (front) he took them out and put 2 implant in told him I was having pain with one whilst screwing it in and he said oh that’s normal and still continued to proceed. Went back to get permanent teeth and when he unscrewed the abutment he was actually unscrewing the whole implant out and said that’s not good and made a denture and said come back and the next appointment was 2 months away, considering you pay thousands they don’t care, Jason also only works there twice a months which I didn’t realise prior to treatment which is no good! Couldn’t even speak to him or couldn’t get any information of him personally if I wanted to know anything or keep me at ease !! I lived 2-3 hours away so if I needed anything or if I wanted to speak to him I had to travel because they wouldn’t ring me to save time ! The dentist Jason never had smile on his face and belittled me, made me feel that the questions I asked were nonsense. It was basically get in get out. On my children’s life i came out of that dentist each time crying my eyes out after the way he was towards me. To me the way I felt i had to listen to him and get on with it, there was no down to earthness to him which made the whole experience awful ! I was so excited to start treatment and saved and saved to be sitting here with a denture that’s falling out when I talk and all he said was “least you have teeth” dental will comment on this review with a bunch of rubbish! Put it this way even if they paid me to finish my treatment I would rather have no teeth. I had £900 back but this was because I wanted to not return to their dentist. I deserve half my money back for not even having the full treatment ! I have taken this complaint further. Also I understand things can happen but it’s the way i was treated during my treatment and wish I never went there. Currently going else where to rectify my teeth spending even more money. Dental can reply to this with a bunch of things but you wasn’t in that room and seen how I was treated !! Please if anyone is looking to go here then look else where !

   I had 2 dental implants at Dentale in Bristol and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and the process as a whole. I would consider myself a nervous patient, but the dentists and nurses were so caring and understanding. Everything was explained to me in a way I could understand throughout which helped with my anxiety. I am so, so pleased with my new smile! I would 100% recommend.

   I cannot praise the care and attention I have received highly enough. I would like to give 6 out of 5 stars! I came to Alex after I had a chip on the side of my tooth. I had initially had treatment closer to home but was not happy with how the tooth was left. I was also quite nervous as I had been left with sensitivity around the tooth. Alex discussed my options, and when I returned for treatment I felt much more at ease. Alex took time to build my tooth back up, and I can honestly say it was a completely pain free experience. My husband and myself travel 1 1/2 hours to visit this dentist team. This shows how we value the care and service we receive.

   I had a dental implant placed at Dentale Bristol a couple of weeks ago and could not be happier! I've had many horrible experiences at the dentists before, and I could not fault the staff at Dentale - from start to finish, they were all very friendly and knowledgeable, made me feel safe and looked after. I could not recommend Dentale highly enough!

   I had two implants and they look fantastic and a really great price - much cheaper than elsewhere as it is a teaching practice. They have some very high tech equipment, the likes of which I have not seen before. When looking at my teeth super enhanced xray imagery it confirmed what my wife has been saying for years - I have very little brain. Thoroughly recommend - the dental practice, not my wife.

   I initially booked my implant at Dentale due to cost. They were almost half the price of other practices, but this is due to it being a training facility. I was a little apprehensive but decided to go ahead. Any concerns I had were quickly erased on my first visit. The practice was very professionally run and everyone I spoke to were professional and caring. There was no sales pitch, but good advice on what I could achieve. I had a front upper implant, which, as I found out is pretty major work. 2 hrs in all, but apart from never feeling a thing, the student (fully qualified dentist) was absolutely brilliant. He let me know exactly what was happening at all stages and was a very calming influence. I always felt in very competent hands. The level of student supervision is also excellent with a senior implant dentist always on hand to guide and advise. I had two more visits to finally set my new front tooth, which looks fantastic and has given me my confidence back. All in all, I had an excellent experience of something which I thought I would never be able to afford. This is a professional establishment and is highly recommended. PS many thanks to all the Portishead team.
