   I telephoned the Gerrards Cross office on Thursday regarding the need for a Solicitor to witness my wife's signature on some important documents and could I please make an appointment. I was told that there was no need for an appointment as it was a "walk in service" . You can probably guess what's coming next. When we arrived the next day (Friday) mid morning we were told there were no Solicitors in the office as it was a Friday and they were all working from home. This I was told was something I should have taken into account! The net result was that I had to go Chalfont St Giles, where I was lucky enough to find a Solicitor that was actually available and working from their office. Reading previous reviews (which I wish I had read beforehand) I read that a similar situation occurred with Les Liney Motor Repairs a year ago, so clearly no lessons have been learned. Communication with its customers is clearly something this firm is not very good at, and rest assured I will not be recommending them.

   Very strange interactions with them. They don't look at any documents unless you pay £4000 to find out if you have a viable claim. They also said they only needed a smaller retainer and then in the next email changed their mind and asked for the full 2 months invoice upfront or they won't continue. The lack of integrity is concerning.

   We would highly recommend BP Collins to anybody that needs a house sold. We had the misfortune of having an incompetent solicitor handling the sale, on the buyer's side. A massive thank you to Shubneet Panesar in particular, who not only worked round the clock, but was both incredibly supportive and communicative despite ongoing stress. She in fact single handedly saved the sale from falling through. In the process she also made sure we saved several thousand pounds. Her advice and attitude could not have been better.    I rarely give 5* reviews but will gladly give one to Sharon Heselton/Victoria Phelan who handled my mother's probate. My mother died without a lawyer and BP Collins were one of three firms who pitched for the business. Sharon was convincing and upfront on how best to proceed, allowing us to doing the work that was better for us to do than using lawyers (e.g. sorting out the credit cards). Her quote was reasonable, she came in on quote, and was always pleasant and efficient to work with.

   Do not engage this firm in dispute resolution... A rip off and zero results.... They are very convincing and probably brilliant at selling their services but beware of Metthew Brandis who then delegates to Olivia Duncan who is brilliant at writing pages and pages of scribe but which turns out to be utterly useless. Save your money. meaningless.
