I visited the ballroom for the first time and was very impressed with the experience. The atmosphere was great, and all the staff were completely on point friendly, attentive. The prices for pints were also surprisingly decent, which was a nice bonus. Overall, it was a fantastic first visit and somewhere I’d definitely be happy to return to.

Decent size place, plenty of 'characters' and quite a varied age goup in attendace. Served quite quick at the bar and enough tv's that you wouldnt miss anything on screen!

Lots of pool tables (both USA and UK styles), plus snooker tables in private rooms, which are great. Good selection of drinks at the bar and decent bar snacks available. There's also quite a few dart boards and lots of TV screens around the halls for keeping an eye on live sports.

We had a fun outing here playing snooker, especially since the snooker rooms are private and quiet. We loved the atmosphere in the other parts of the bar, though a little loud, it was clearly well maintained and was very inviting, we'll certainly be back for more games.

Bar staff expected to do too much for a Saturday night. Not enough of them to ensure standard of service. Toilets were terrible for 8pm on a Saturday. £15 for a 10inch shop bought frozen pizza. Absolutely overpriced. Cracking size of venue Could be better.

Lots of Pool tables like the name says, lol, would say it is a fair price for being the only pool around, 10 /hr. Really poor restaurant, by 20:00 they had absolutely no food to sell and ran out of beer by the same time, guess who left...

Plenty of space to play pool on different size of tables. £9 for an hour of playing pool if you are a member. Drinks are a bit pricy. Paid almost £11 for a pint and and a small alcohol free beer. It would be great if they had foosball tables, too.

Was OK but a bit short staffed and they were very nice and pleasant. Our snooker table had a wee tear in the cloth at one of the pockets. We were in a room which was chilly.

Decent for pool and snooker BUT come 3pm-3:30pm through the week this place becomes like a nursery. Dozens of school kids pour in, even though its a licensed bar but I'm assuming as they serve food it takes away the legality of having kids in the place. As you can imagine with all these kids it just spoils any enjoyment you were having, loud, running around and shouting etc. Completely spoils the place and anytime I've been there with mates we always leave and head somewhere else as soon as the place becomes a school playground! This is not how a snooker club should be!
