Really lovely bunch, they have turned my kids from nervous learners who didn't like getting their faces wet or jumping into veritable water babies. Despite some challenging times securing pools to teach in, their communication has been great and they've been very flexible.
Both my children have attended aquatics over the years, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. We’ve had several coaches across the last eight years, but most recently Graham at Queensferry High has been fantastic with my 7-year-old. We’ve seen real, noticeable progress. Before that, Grace at Inverkeithing was wonderful and really helped my son regain his confidence in the water after Covid.
I’ve had my 2 kids with Aquatic for a few years and they were excellent!! Teachers are brilliant!! Both my kids a super confident swimmers now and I highly recommend 100%
Big thank you to Aquatic Learning who have successfully taught both my kids to swim with confidence at Portobello High School. The kids attended weekly lessons and summer swim camps over the years. The teachers are all consistently highly skilled and great at what they do- would definitely recommend, especially for kids who may not have the most confidence in water!
I just would like to thank Aquatic Learning for their professional and kindness approach to swimming learning for my children! My daughter just finished all 4 stages in just less than 3 years and my son nearly for a year (and already moved to Beginners 2) attending swimming classes. The coaches are amazing and supportive throughout the whole learning journey, in particular making my children feel safe and at the same time brave to achieve new goals. Very pleased with my 5yo sons progress and their communication has been excellent.
My children have been swimming with aquatic learning for around 9 months. I have had no feedback on how the children have improved or what level they are currently swimming. This has made it difficult for me to assess the level for other lessons going forward. My daughter had fed back to me that the Lane she is swimming is over crowded and the kids bump into each other, she has really not enjoyed the lessons and from my observations not improved at all. My son on the otherhand seems happy. I have tried to cancel the lessons with Aquatic learning. And on the phone I was advised that they would actively try to fill my spaces and issue a refund. Unfortunately I heard nothing back so assumed that no one had taken the spaces. I made it clear that I did not want the lessons to continue yet have now been billed for lessons starting again in September. I preemptively emailed to ensure the cancellation message was put across however have now been told that they don't take cancellation on the phone and again they will try to fill my space. I am back to square 1 with the cancellation and don't expect a refund despite the actual lessons starting 3 months from now. I don't feel satisfied with the lesson quality, communication or handling of customer enquiries.
My 4 year old girls loves these lessons, the teacher is so patient and my daughter is improving so much so quickly.
I used them in the past, and found them very easy to deal with. The coaching was excellent - after trying different providers I felt that this was the only lessons where my 6-year old was being actively shown how to swim. It helped that the instructor was in the pool with the kids, on a ratio of max 1-2-6. Will certainly use them again.
