   We couldn't be more pleased with the service we've received from Tilly at Gibson Young over the past two years. First, she dealt with probate after my mother's death extremely efficiently, explaining everything clearly, taking us through the process, and achieving a very satisfactory outcome. Then, more recently, she acted for us when we were selling my late mother's flat, and gave us the same professional support, especially when having to deal with our occasional frustrations about what was happening (or not happening) and negotiating effectively with the buyer's solicitor. Apart from all that, Tilly has been an absolute pleasure to deal with, friendly and positive from the word go. If it weren't for the fact that we live nearly 300 miles away, and therefore slightly impractical, we'd be very happy to keep Gibson Young as our solicitors for the future.

   Although Gibson Young were very good during the purchase of my property, follow-up and communication has been terrible to the point of beyond rude since. I have emailed, phoned and left messages multiple times only to be met with silence from all except the poor person who answers the phone and takes messages. I would not recommend to others.

   Gibson Young was suggested to me as a trustworthy and reliable conveyancer for my flat sale, with Tilly being recomended in particular. My flat had been on the market for c.18 months so when I eventually got an offer post-covid, I was keen to move quickly. Tilly was excellent at every step, and with me being a complete novice, provided help and reassurance every step of the way. Tilly was responsive to both myself and the buyer's solicitor, and I always felt like we were one step ahead. Would 100% recommend Gibson Young.
