    I’ve visited the brow place several times over the past two years. Yesterday, I had my eyebrows shaped with wax by a woman who had never done them before. She was quite aggressive and heavy-handed. After the waxing, when she applied the soothing lotion, she rubbed it on very hard. I wouldn’t write this review if it hadn’t caused me so much pain afterward. I still have red lines across my eyes 24 hours later, and it is really painful—I think she took a layer of skin off my eyebrows. I’ve attached a photo because I don’t think this is normal, and I’ve had my eyebrows waxed here four times without an issue. I also don’t typically have sensitive skin.

    Liv is absolutely amazing I had the most fantastic lash lift and tint from her! My lashes look like extensions. Absolutely gorgeous experience and can’t recommend her enough!

    After 6 weeks of growing my brows I was excited to get them nicely reshaped! I went to The Brow Place for threading as it’s supposed to be the place for brows in Bath! My experience was really bad, in short, I left in tears! The threading ‘specialist’ gave me the thinnest brows that I’ve ever had! I was so disappointed!!! ☹️☹️ Now I’m back to growing my brows… Don’t go to this place if you’re looking for a reshape as you’re going to regret it! It’s quite clear that they can only do very basic tidy-ups. There are much better brow artists in Bath!

    Loved it I was lucky to find a table at 11.20am waitress was very helpful and it was a quick service lt was busy there people came n went Seemed to enjoy their food n drinks. I found there was a slight attitude when l went inside to pay for what l had, after l asked where the toilet was The girl was very sharp they way she spoke as she was preparing a tray with tea cups on etc. The pleasant one took my bill n money. Would l go again Yez but sit outside. Inside seating you could smell the cooked food rising up from downstairs Only 1 toilet for ladies 1 for men Very tight n close areas Queuing was embarrassing as not far from kitchen area.

    Love getting my brows done here! I was waiting for them to reopen after lockdown and it was worth it. They followed all the necessary precautions and everything was very well sanitised. Definitely recommend!

    I don’t usually write reviews but I wanted to share my experience. I’ve been a client here since they opened quite a few years ago. Ive always had a really good experience and my brows used to look amazingly transformed, but the last few times i’ve visited it hasn’t been to the standard I would usually expect. The last time I visited for a brow thread my eyebrows were big and bushy as I hadn’t touched them in months, I was so looking forward to them being tidied, but when I got home I noticed they were not smooth and neat, they were jaggered and lots of hairs had been missed and it wasn’t threaded/ plucked in the right places. I don’t know if this was because the girl rushed or hadn’t been working there very long or wasn’t as trained as the girls that have been there for a while/ from the start. Maybe if the girl was a trainee you should notify the client before?

    Deffiantly wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone! I had a bad experience here at The Brow Bar and would not be returning. I left the salon with hives that was bleeding above my eyebrows that felt bruised and sore. I wasn't asked if I was happy to have a trainee do them which I feel is very wrong. When I emailed them to say I was unhappy with my experience, they did offer me a free Brow tidy, but after leaving there the way I did I wasn't comfortable going back again. I asked for a refund back for what I paid to have them done instead of a voucher to visit again, the salon emailed me back again and I was disgusted by the reply! So rude and unprofessional, I was shocked! Would not recommend this salon to anyone unless you want to end up like I did!
