We had to deal with Russell and Cooke through our house sale, they were representing our freeholder during a deed amendment. My solicitor could never get hold of the freeholders solicitor and when she would call the main office they would say he wasn't in or was unavailable. We wouldn't get a reply for him for weeks and he caused a 2 month delay on our house sale purely because he wouldn't complete the work in a timely manner. He also charged a very high fee for a deed approval. It caused us so much unnecessary stress just from lack of communication and efforts. We have reported the situation to the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Please watch out if you are considering using them.
