   I had my hair cut here today! With Ava! As soon as I walked in, all the staff were friendly and smiley, so I instantly felt welcome. I told Ava about my hair history, and what I was thinking about ideas wise, what would suit my hair texture etc. She really is very knowledgeable, and explained the cut I was after would suit my natural curl pattern. She also showed me how to style it at home, and what products were useful to achieve certain looks. She gave me a lovely head massage after my hair wash, and we had a good natter whilst she did my hair. She blow dried my hair, I asked for a voluminous blowout. It looked amazing, and was so cute. Really lovely and accommodating.

   I honestly can’t thank Ava enough for the incredible job she did on my colour correction. She was absolutely amazing from start to finish; so patient, knowledgeable, and reassuring throughout the whole process. She went above and beyond, even staying late to make sure everything was perfect, and the results are just stunning. My hair looks and feels amazing, and I’m so grateful for her skills and dedication. I couldn’t recommend her more highly, such a talented professional and a genuinely lovely person to spend time with in the chair. Thank you again!

   The salon is always well run and welcoming, and Gee is the perfect hairdresser - relaxed, highly skilled, and creative. I'm very happy with how my style has evolved over the last 18 months or so with her great suggestions and tweaks which always take into account my hair texture, lifestyle and personal vibe.    Whenever I visit BA1 Hair, I'm always greeted with a warm welcome. The salon is always busy, even when I turn up in the early hours of the morning, but the team are always polite and helpful. Sam always listen to my 'suggestions' for how I want my hair to look (not always realistic!) and then we discuss the options before he begins. He never seems to be in a rush to juggle multiple clients, which is refreshing, and has done a great job of turning my very fine, wispy hair, into a style that I can manage easily and looks great.

   Always choose BA1 hair now. Incredibly friendly team, lovely setting and wonderful service - the head massage during the hair wash is always a welcome treat! It’s not over-expensive or pretentious unlike some places I have been. As you’d expect, it’s always busy, so book well in advance!

   First time at this salon after a previous bad experience at another salon in Bath. Very nervously put my trust in Katie to choose the best 3 coloured foil highlights for what I described/worked best for me and it turned out phenomenal. She is incredible. And makes sure she packs your hair with fine foils super close to roots so be reassured no stripes which I have experienced before. If you are blonde or fancy a fantastic colourist, I highly recommend Katie and this salon

   I've been coming to see George for what I think must be at least 8 years. He always gave me a very natural colour and cut that I was very happy with. I had also seen Jessie for some extensions when my daughter was very young as she kept pulling my hair out, which helped with my self-confidence at that time. It is therefore with a heavy heart that I have to give a bad review. I was booked in a week ago for a cut and colour, but unfortunately I was struck down with the flu, and have only just started going out again a week later. I gave 24 hours notice that I was too ill to attend (the most I could give after being ill at the weekend), but they said that I would lose my deposit of £56 and said it was non-refundable and not able to be used for a future booking when I was well enough to come in. Not withstanding, that these terms are not publicised when paying the deposit (and so I can't think it is actually legal), this is such an upsetting way to treat a long standing and loyal customer just before Christmas.
