   Absolute sharks - do not trust. I stated before the session I had enough money to cover one hour session to maximise the information that I needed with my legal dispute. The solicitor then spoke about previous clients and unrelated matters I didn't need to talk about. I reminded her of the time and that she hadn't the addressed the main issue that I was calling on with ten minutes left. It meant the session lasted longer than expected and there were additional fees for a few documents she sent out without telling me this would cost more. They refuse to respond to the complaint and I'm left with nothing.

   My husband and I have had an excellent experience with solicitor Matthew Flexman in the Barnes branch regarding wills and related matters. Matthew has his finger on the button, extremely professional and efficient. My advice is don’t hesitate to instruct them as it’s 5 stars!!

   This was the lawyer of my counterparty. The company claimed to have accrued £7000 in legal fees for being copied in emails and wanted me to pay these as part of the contract but was not able to produce any timesheet. It’s a very unprofessional company! Also I used my work email address with regards to our conversation and they forward the emails to my colleagues. Very inappropriate! To me a company that does not use timesheet is only able to inflate whatever fees they want! I contacted SRA which looked into it. Although they were not able to make them produce a timesheet, they are interested into knowing about any future court decision, whether their fees have been judged inflated!

   I would give 6 stars out of 5 if I were given the option! My wife and I received outstanding legal advice and services from Sutton-Mattocks not only recently but consistently throughout the years. In particular we benefited from the professionalism and expertise of Jonathan Walsh who made a pleasant experience out of every time we required his assistance. Jonathan has an exceptional expertise in property matters, he has exquisite manners and his fees are very competitive. Sutton-Mattocks staff are great at explaining technical matters, making things easy and keeping the customers informed. Some years ago I was persuaded to try a renown national company for conveyancing: there is no comparison between the service I received from Sutton-Mattocks and them. When dealing with conveyancing and property issues Sutton-Mattocks revealed superior in all respects and by a large margin. Sutton-Mattocks completed our practice at a record time, getting everything right the first time, with a clear and polite communication. I felt I was treated like an individual and not like a reference number on a piece of paperwork piled up on a desk among many others. It was a refreshing experience: I received personalised advice with a professional yet friendly approach. I am so grateful to Debra for her patient, thoughtful and dynamic assistance. One may think that such a service would cost a fortune. On the contrary, the bill was very competitive, even when compared with large solicitors firms that are often recommended by high street banks and I would have - wrongly - thought could be the most effective option on the market. This is an excellent service where wisdom and attention to detail meets a top class customer care. I would definitely appoint Jonathan Walsh again and I would recommend Mr Walsh and Sutton-Mattocks to a friend.
