   I went on the 27th of October to the salon .Shannon one of the team in Coldharbour branch did a very bad treatment for me as she injured my skin around the left big toe and in addition to that she hurt the same toe from behind with a sharp object without showing any emotion or care or even said sorry to me when I mentioned that to her . Her work in general was very poor as did cut my finger nails with different lengths and she was working without any interest in her work . I contacted one of the managers for beauty box ( Tracy ) , from Westubury on Trym branch , she promised me to talk to the salon owner as today she was available in that branch and return to me , unfortunately she didn’t do that despite I called them today several times and I am still waiting for their response. Do not go to the Beauty box salons especially the Coldharbour Road branch . There might be an issue also regarding the honesty of keeping your personal details private .

   I went to Beauty Box on Coldharbour Road with my mum for her birthday present. It was the only place I phoned that would do both manicures at the same time. Lucy and Kat were lovely and listened to what we wanted. We were both very pleased with our gel nails; thanks very much ladies!

   I’m very confused as to why someone from beauty box replied to my last review saying I got a different colour - I got the exact same colour? Also, considering they had to redo every single toenail (and three fingernails) the colour I chose wouldn’t have made any difference. Very bizarre.

   Absolutely awful experience with beauty box coldharbour. I went in for a mani/pedi two days before leaving for my wedding abroad and the service was abysmal - my nails literally look like they were painted by a 5 year old. I emailed the salon asking for a refund, and was told that they could only offer to redo the service. I appreciated the gesture but at that point, I didn’t have time to go in and get it all redone before I left. I explained this to Julia, the salon owner and even sent her pictures of my nails so she could see the clearly substandard job. Had it been any other day I would’ve been happy to get them redone, but as I explained to Julia several times I was leaving for my wedding abroad in less than 48 hours and simply couldn’t accommodate another appointment in my schedule. Julia repeatedly ignored this and continued to ask for my availability to get them redone. I eventually decided to move some other appointments and called the salon Friday morning to reschedule, but there was no availability at the westbury location. The lady I spoke with very tersely told me that I should’ve taken the appointment she offered yesterday at 1 PM (I wasn’t available then, and had already spent two hours at the salon that morning) she then told me that if I had been so dissatisfied with my service then I should’ve refused to pay. This might have been a good solution if they hadn’t taken 2/3 of the payment up front when I booked! I did eventually agree to go in to have the nails redone on the Friday, but as there was no availability in my local salon I had to go to an even further one away. Despite Julia’s insistence that fixing my nails “would only take 45 minutes” I was there for nearly two hours. In fairness, the ladies at the Clifton salon did a very nice job; but requiring your clients to carve more time out of their own schedules so that the technicians can have another shot at a proper service is just not adequate. Will not be returning here: rude employees, terrible service and utterly incompetent nail technicians.

   Just visited here and had my back and shoulders waxed by Rebecca. First time I had this done and was anxious and even concerned that the amount of hair could be safely waxed. Very thick and most of my back and shoulders. Rebecca was great at reassuring me that it would be fine and kept everything light hearted. What I was most amazed at was how quick she got everything done and without having to go over missed bits. Yes, it hurt like hell! But I was given permission to swear and it was all over before I knew it. I was amazed how easy You made it. Thank you Rebecca! Excellent work. Highly recommended.

   I booked in with Lucy for a luxury manicure and gel polish and was extremely happy with the great service I received. Lucy had a lovely manner and was very friendly as well as keen to deliver an excellent quality service. The manicure included a hand and arm massage, masque and hot mitts which left my hands feeling super soft and in great condition. Lucy then did a brilliant job with the gels and is quite a perfectionist which suited me perfectly ! I had also booked my daughter in to have her toenails filed and polished and she was very happy with the result. Really nice, small salon with a friendly team - we'll definitely be back!
