Terrible customer service, the lady was rude and unapologetic. She was horrid to my mother and I had called her out for it and she proceeded to square up to me and moving her hands around. I obviously defended myself but horrendous place to go to
Asked for acrylic nails and given “shellac” the products used were definitely unusable. The smell was horrid. this picture was after i managed to pick it off my skin.
I asked for a thread and brown eyebrow tint. She waxed without asking, died my eyebrows pure black (I do not have dark hair or skin so this looks really bad) and had managed to remove hair so there’s a gap in my brow. This was without a doubt the worst experience of any beauty treatment I have ever had. Avoid. Like. The. Plague.
Went for a gel removal, ended up with my nails ruined. The technician said it’s because the gel is too hard lol. Well, that’s how it works??? Anyway she damaged and broke 3 of my nails, and the rest of my nails are now brittle.
I visited here on a last minute basis to have my eye brows waxed, the girls in there were a pleasure to deal with, friendly and helpful and done a great job! Prices were more than reasonable and I’d like to add that I didn’t make an appointment but they seen to me straight away :) Would highly recommend and will be a returning customer!
Not my usual salon, but tried it today and will definitely return as I am often in Bristol! The staff were so friendly and I’m so happy with my gel nails
When I first walked in I was told to take a seat in the waiting area, it looked clean and tidy. There was a lady seeing to one women but constantly lifting her head up to see who had arrived and was telling people to sit and wait. One person would sit and have one eye brow done then the lady would call someone else over to the other empty seat and start on their eyebrows, she would do one, then go back to the other person.. She was trying to secure as many people as possible to avoid people walking out. The two girls working there talk constantly over you in their own language as if you are not there, it’s abit uncomfortable to be honest. The lady before we was told “we don’t have the eyelashes you want you will get the ones we have”. She was abit apprehensive but was already in the chair and didn’t feel like she could then say no. It was my turn! I asked for a eyebrow thread and a top lip WAX. What did I get? A rushed eyebrow thread, and a top lip THREAD! The lady who did my threading was awfully rude and chewed gum constantly right in my face the entire time. I’ve since chosen not to go back.
The staff is very welcoming and the atmospher relaxing. I had a shellac manicure well executed. So far I am happy with the result, the guidance and the service. I also have my eyebrows done, which I like. Thank you :)
I went in for shellac hands. Immediately the woman doing the cuticle cut really hurt my nails! She the filed my nails so hard to cut the skin around the nail. She then applied the shellac incorrectly and too thick so it bubbled, meaning she had to remove the whole lot and someone else had to come over and re-do the nails. Even then, they looked AWFUL!! There was a mess around the nails and didn't offer to clean this up. She still charged my full price. The worst place I have been. I ended up removing the shellac once I'd got home and had to apply antiseptic cream to the cuts around my nails.
