I would highly recommend JOI Salon. What a great experience. I've always been to bigger branded salons and always left feeling "Yeah my hair is okay" or I've left in tears because they havent listened to anything that I wanted. I really don't like changing hairdressers either as I am a very nervous person when it comes to someone new touching my hair. I went to my consultation with Nicola and she made me feel very welcome and comfortable, booked my appointment and left feeling nervous and excited!! Official appointment arrived and I arrived feeling very nervous but still excited. The hair got chopped off and I started to sweat a little. It did need to go im not going to lie, it's about time for something new. Nicola made me feel very comfortable, even was happy to have my dog in with me who absolutely loved all the attention she was getting from staff and clients. My hair cut and colour was absolutely amazing and I couldn't be happier. I left feeling very happy and my hair is so lovely. A very nervous experience turned into a lovely comfortable experience that I would definitely recommend and be returning. Nicola was absolutely lovely, she had so much patience and time for me and listened to everything that I thought I liked for my hair, but also added some of her own touch to it as she knows what is going to look nice so I was happy to let her do what she thought was best. Best Idea ever!!
First time at this salon and found it a very pleasant experience. Carly was great at explaining what she thought would be best for me as a hairstyle and with the colour. It feels like every client is valued and I would definitely recommend.
I was delighted with the cut and blow dry I received. Having had a very bad experience from a different salon I was hesitant about going to have my hair cut. I had no need to feel like that. I was sympathetically but professionally listened to, advised and understood. Wabara was confident that she could provide the cut I was hoping for which, in turn made me feel more relaxed. Throughout the entire process she kept reassuring me and checking that I was happy with the way my hair was being styled. Thank you so much for restoring my confidence in hairdressing! I had my first experience of JOI Salon and Carly as a hairdresser on Saturday. I am so happy!! The cut and colour of my hair is exactly what I was looking for. The salon is really relaxing and I enjoyed my few hours relaxing with a cheeky glass of fizz! This is exactly how having your hair cut should be - a real pleasure! Amazing to finally have this in Nailsea!
