   Great experience. Phil was excellent with my 2 year old son. He did such a great job I booked myself in. For someone who has only just started out as a barber during lockdown. This bloke can seriously cut hair. Soon I will be moving out of the area but as long as Phil continues to work at LA Barbers I will be driving back to get my hair cut.

   For me, this was a convienient salon and they always did a good job. I have been for many, many years (and until recently used to drive 30 mintues to go back to this place) until something changed. The interior lost its charm and professional image (the dark grey look) and when they started doing a bookings system, I was no longer a person, but a number. Its now an awful bright white ugly interior and what I can only describe as a market atmosphere. The owners must be taking more money as it's usually quite busy but sadly, it's lost me as a customer.

   My son has had a great haircut by an older barber called Gareth. I was a little hesitant going to a walk in with a new barber but the cut by Gareth was outstanding and hopefully he will get to see this review and get the recognition he deserves. Forget the new school fades and foils this old school barber shows there is nothing better than experience and gave Toby a class haircut for his holidays.

   My 13 year old daughter had her hair cut at La Barber today. She has long straight hair with no fringe and wanted 4 inches taking off the ends no styling required. We waited our turn, and the cut took just 15 minutes as she does not have very thick hair. The cut was fine, but the price I thought was expensive at £15 apparently when I spoke with the manager as an adult it would have cost £28. I don't think I will be going there again with my girls. For my son the charge is always £8.50. He has a full head trim with shaving and scissoring and takes much longer to do. I do not fully understand their pricing system.
