   Took my son for a hair cut and is hands down one of the WORST haircuts he has ever had. The so called barber didn’t listen to what I asked for and completely hacked my son’s hair. He also cut my son’s ear which has now traumatised my son when he comes to hair cuts. Will have to reply to your reply here as it won’t let me any other way. First of all my son isn’t 4 and age was not asked when I arrived at your shop and secondly I was not asked to sit with my child for ‘comfort and safety’ reasons and the fact your implying I would risk my sons safety is absolutely disgusting and you should be ashamed considering your a parent yourself!! Yes my son was crying and I was comforting him front the front holding his head still for your employee. Tears shouldn’t mean a bad haircut, he wasn’t trying to move from the chair nor put his hands to his head. Looking at a lot of your reviews they all say the same about children’s haircuts. I really do wish you were in your shop today and refused to cut my son’s hair, would have saved alot of upset on both behalves.

   When I had my first haircut, the barber gave me a ridiculous cut rather than a professional one. doesn't know how to style their hair, put on clothes, or apply a finish. Although he appears to be a novice, it was entertaining to watch him teach a beginner how to trim hair. Completely displeased, nonsensical hair cut that is not worth the money. It is highly discouraged, and I will never visit Route 8 Barbers again.

   Awful place. Refused to cut my sons hair saying that they aren’t allowed to do a scissor cut because of Empire Barbers which they told me is nonsense! Any other time I’ve taken my son there it’s taken absolutely ages for what has been a sub-par cut. Just awful, don’t go!!
